Fence Posts
Fence posts are necessary to support and hold your fence panels in place, Lawsons supply a range of both timber and concrete posts to help you find the perfect material for your application.
Concrete posts are excellent for prolonged longevity and low-maintenance fencing, but many of our customers prefer timber for a more traditional look and feel as well as cheaper initial costs.
If you choose timber posts, we strongly recommend that the treated timber is not cut or split before embedding it. This is because all our timber posts are treated to increase durability and splitting, it will break the treatment seal and allow water to penetrate the interior wood, meaning that your posts will be more susceptible to rot and decay. If you do need to cut the post, it is best to cut the top and retreat it with preservative.

Keep your bikes protected with our bike storage solution. We have two main options available when it comes to our bike stores − the Apex Bike Store and the Pent Bike Store. The Apex Bike Store is great at providing a safe and secure storage solution for your bikes. Ideally, it should be sited against a wall, and it can comfortably store two adult bikes and has no floor allowing water to easily drain from your bikes. The Pent Bike Store is ideal for general storage as well as bikes. Our bike stores are factory treated, so you don’t need to worry about the timber decaying and to maintain its longevity. Planed All Round Timber
Planed All Round Timber (PAR) is planed on both edges and sides therefore offering a smooth finish which makes it extremely versatile as lends itself to a multitude of uses, such as internal joinery and furniture construction. It will require less finishing to sawn timber and generally will only require sanding.
Here at Lawsons we are able to offer a variety of sections as well as different lengths to suit all your needs. Most of our branches offer a cutting service so if you require specific lengths please contact your local Lawsons branch for availability. We are also able to offer timber machined to specific sizes from our mill in Belvedere, so again, please contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to assist.

PIR Insulation
PIR Insulation (Polyisocyanurate) is a foam, thermoset plastic material, used to produce rigid insulation slabs which are generally laminated to a board, such as plywood or OSB, and can also have a foil layer to offer a gas tight membrane as well as high levels of thermal insulation, especially in decking applications. Suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects this product offers a single solution for decking and insulation thus saving time on installation. This range of products are extremely durable and will last the life of the building, they are also light to handle and easily worked using a saw or sharp knife.
