Football Nets

Lion Trading GB supply all styles of football nets, Full size to Junior size. If they are not showing on the website contact us direct. We understand that purchasing football nets and is a big investment. It’s worth knowing that here, at Lion Trading GB Ltd, we offer a range of football nets in color as well as white. EN1263-1 Safety Nets

Our man-safe safety nets all comply with EN 1263-1 and can be manufactured in custom sizes and colors. From our Doncaster-based warehouse, we can supply you with a large range of standard sizes. All our EN1263-1 safety nets are manufactured from knotless High Tenacity Knotless polypropylene Class A2. For Positioning of the safety netting, the installation system for the en1263-1 System type S safety nets can be different depending on the dimensions and the areas where they are to be installed. The nets will be installed at the anchor points by tie ropes capable of resisting the characteristic 30kn load. The distance between the anchor points must be less than 2.5m. If various nets are used, extend the nets on the floor. You can lace the nets together using joining rope ensuring there are no gaps of more than 100mm. In mezzanine floor buildings you can use claw hooks to fix the net to the steel beam of the floor. The net claw / Lion hooks should be made of sprung zinc-coated steel and positioned no more than every 150cm. When rigging en1263-1 safety nets to portal building use 30kn tie ropes to tie off to the border of the safety and tie off to the steel no more than 250cm apart. This is a recommendation by FASET the fall arrest safety net association. FASET also recommends using a FASET trained certified safety net installer/rigger.

Tarpaulins / Polythene

Are clear tarpaulins covers and waterproof sheets are in a variety of weights and sizes. These tarpaulins are as well as being 100% waterproof they are very strong and long-lasting. This makes them efficient and ideal for a range of outdoor uses. Our polyethylene tarpaulins include Green Standard Tarpaulins, Blue Premium Super Tarp, and Standard Clear Tarpaulins. All consist of woven strips of polyethylene (PE) plastic with another layer of PE plastic bonded to the surface. As a result, they are very resistant to stretching and have a range of uses including car and motorcycle protective sheeting, boat covers, temporary tarp roofing and even to protect heavy machinery and other goods during transportation.

Ball Stop Net & Post System

Ball Stop Aluminium Post system This system is available in various heights from 3m, 4m, 5m up to 6m. The poles are made from 76mm / 3inch round aluminium complete with a pulley cleat and rope enabling the netting to be raised and lowered as required.
