Decades of experience have gone into the development of the TS 83 door closer. It can be adjusted to suit almost all types of door. The DORMA TS 83 can even be supplied with additional anti-corrosion protection for exposed applications or aggressive conditions.

NHN87VP - size 4-6; power adjustment via a 5mm hex key; suitable for door weights of 120-140kg and door width of 1400-1600mm
Economic - Low inventory costs and reduced stocking requirements thanks to its non-handed design
Latching Action - accelerates the door in the final 2 degrees of closing and is designed to overcome resistance caused by latch bots and seals
Back Check - Provides a cushioning effect between 70 and 85 degrees when the door is forcibly thrown open but does not serve as a substitute for a door stop. The backcheck strength can be adjusted via the 'backcheck valve screw' located on the end of the closer body
Delayed Action - Provides prolonged closing time to assist passage of trolley's, wheel chairs and elderly people etc. The maximum delay of 90 seconds is achieved between 180 degrees through to 85 degrees after which the normal closing process takes effect. The delay can be adjusted by the 'delayed action valve screw' located on the closer body next to the spindle
10 year 'no quibble' Guarantee - A free replacement ex-works if any closer proved defective by reason either of faulty manufacture or defect in materials.
