Founded in London as Madlin + Maddison in 1951, the practice continued as a traditional partnership for over 60 years until, in June 2015, the partners decided to change the status of the practice to a limited liability partnership and at the same time to shorten the name to Madlins, by which name the practice was fairly universally known anyway.
