Maxmag Moulded Magnets, formerly Boxmag Rapid.
We manufacture ferrite multipole magnets using the injection moulding process. This means that we can provide a fully repeatable magnetised component straight from the injection moulding machine in one process.
Injection moulding magnets gives a more accurate magnetic flux, meaning that the magnet can be used in precision environments.
The magnetic Polymer that the ferrite is suspended in can be chosen for the particular environment that the magnet is to be used in. Nylon 12, Nylon 6 or a polypropylene base material being among the more popular.
Whilst not as strong as a neo magnet a ferrite magnet can be custom made and magnetised radially, conically. As we create the magnetic fields within the moulding process this allows us to accurately place the poles within a complex shape with tighter tolerances than sintering allows.
