S8000 -100

The S8000 -100 hygrometer directly measures the formation of condensation on a mirrored surface, offering the widest possible measurement range of -100...+20 °C frost/dew point. It uses a unique advanced dual optics system which detects small changes in moisture condensed on the mirror surface. This results in a very high sensitivity and fast response to changes in frost point, even at very low moisture levels where measurements are most challenging. Fully automated control of the system means that no operator intervention is required. The instrument provides a range of Modbus digital communications, and analog outputs allowing it to be monitored remotely or via specific S8000 -100 logging software. 4-wire Pt100 connections are provided on the rear panel for remote mirror temperature monitoring.

A high-contrast touch-screen LCD display gives or presents entirely customizable local indication of the measured values, along with a trend graph and fault warnings.

CDP301

CDP301 portable HCDP tester uses the chilled-mirror principle for both hydrocarbon and water dew-point measurements and is designed to follow the requirements as described in ASTM D1142. Based on the visual manual method of observing the formation of condensate, the CDP301 uses a high-definition visual image to assist users and allows image capture and reliable logging of measurements for later review.

XTP501

A lightweight oxygen analyzer for cost-effective quality control in safe area applications, such as monitoring oxygen purity. Using Michell’s tried and tested Thermo-Paramagnetic oxygen sensing technology the XTP501 has no consumable parts to replace and offers users an extremely low cost of ownership due to minimal maintenance needs.

The analyzer version features an intuitive user interface for easy set up and use.

S8000

The new S8000 Hygrometer provides a direct measurement of dew point, temperature and pressure. Dew-point measurement is based on the proven, fundamental optical chilled mirror measurement principle, giving long-term drift-free humidity measurement over the entire operating range. The S8000 uses this measurement to offer a range of available measurement units including ppmV, absolute humidity, relative humidity and ppmW.

S8000 RS

The S8000 RS chilled mirror sensor directly measures the formation of condensation, giving long-term and unmatched, drift-free readings of dew-point and relative humidity. It offers a wide measurement range from -90 to +20°C dew point. Fully automated control of the auxiliary cooling system means that no operator intervention is required even if the measured dew point changes from one end of the range to the other.

S8000 Remote

The S8000 Remote has all the great features of the other S8000 Series chilled mirror hygrometers, but with a convenient and compact remote sensor design.
The field-proven sensor boasts upgraded temperature control for extremely accurate dew-point measurement. Coupled with the standard ±0.1°C accuracy ambient temperature sensor, it provides fundamentally derived, high precision relative humidity readings necessary for validating the results of environmental tests.

SF82

Simple to install and maintain, the SF82 is a fast response moisture meter measuring dew point and moisture content and is available with a range of process connections and electrical connectors. All SF82 dew-point transmitters are available with a service exchange program which reduces the cost of maintenance.

Michell’s Advanced Thick Film Moisture Sensor technology based Hygrometers are calibrated to international standards and are delivered with a traceable calibration certificate.

Optidew 401 & 501

The Optidew 401 and Optidew 501 are fast-responding chilled mirror hygrometers utilizing the latest developments in chilled mirror technology. Ideal for use in industrial humidity control and precision laboratory applications. Available in bench top and wall mount configurations as well as a transmitter version of the Optidew 501 (without a display). Featuring ±0.15 °C accuracy across its -40 to +120 °C dew-point measurement range.

Condumax II

Condumax II On-Line is a fully self-contained hydrocarbon dew point analyzer, using the proven "Dark Spot" hydrocarbon dew point measurement principle from the highly successful Condumax instrument. Combining a hydrocarbon dew point cell and water dew point measurement in the same compact and lightweight EExd enclosure, Condumax II On-Line requires nothing more than mains power to operate.

Liquidew I.S.

On-line measurement of moisture content in liquids is accurate, fast and reliable with the Liquidew I.S. Moisture in Liquid Analyzer from Michell. A wide variety of non-polar liquids can be measured continuously, on-line, including flammable liquids and hazardous area applications, petrochemicals, power industry and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

HygroCal100

The HygroCal100 provides a stable test chamber to quickly evaluate the performance of relative humidity sensors across a wide range of 5 to 95% relative humidity.

Its intuitive 4” touch screen display and interface allows the probes under test to be fully integrated with the chamber and user interface (UI), so up to 7 probes with a variety of diameters and output signals can be powered, monitored and logged simultaneously by one self contained unit.

The HygroCal100 allows you to automate your calibration procedure with ease, and will provide a complete logged output of all probes under test against the reference instrument in csv format, ready to download to your USB memory device.

Coupled with an Optidew Vision chilled mirror hygrometer, the HygroCal100 becomes a powerful transportable calibration facility.

The HygroCal100 can optionally be fitted with a high capacity battery pack, which can power the generator and 7 sensors under test for up to 8 hours. The unit can also run from mains power while charging the battery.

DCS Dew-Point Calibration System

DCS Dew-Point Calibration System (DCS60, DCS80 & DCS100)

The DCS system is a complete rack-mounted calibration station capable of producing a flow of air (or nitrogen) at a pre-specified range of dew-point temperatures from a minimum of -100°C (-148°F) to a maximum of +20°C (+68°F). Through customization the DCS system can be PC controlled for automated calibration sequences or manually operated at pre-determined dew-point set points.

When ordering this system, simply specify the required operating range, and Michell Instruments will determine the most economical way to construct your calibration system.

MDM300

A high-speed portable dew-point hygrometer, offering rapid spot-check measurements of dew point or moisture content in many applications, including compressed air, natural gas and highvoltage switchgear quench gas. This lightweight, ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA, GOST and INMETRO certified product allows more measurements per working hour than any other comparable product. A hard-wearing but ergonomic case and an easy-to-use interface allows comfortable and practical operation in the toughest industrial environments.

Easidew Portable Hygrometer

The Easidew Portable Hygrometer has been designed to make spot checks of the dew point in air and gases as simple as possible. This completely self-contained instrument weighs only 4kg and is delivered ready to use. Simply connect your sample gas to the Quick Connect fittings, turn on the instrument and it will automatically begin to measure the dew point of the applied sample.
