S8000 -100

The S8000 -100 hygrometer directly measures the formation of condensation on a mirrored surface, offering the widest possible measurement range of -100...+20 °C frost/dew point. It uses a unique advanced dual optics system which detects small changes in moisture condensed on the mirror surface. This results in a very high sensitivity and fast response to changes in frost point, even at very low moisture levels where measurements are most challenging. Fully automated control of the system means that no operator intervention is required. The instrument provides a range of Modbus digital communications, and analog outputs allowing it to be monitored remotely or via specific S8000 -100 logging software. 4-wire Pt100 connections are provided on the rear panel for remote mirror temperature monitoring.

A high-contrast touch-screen LCD display gives or presents entirely customizable local indication of the measured values, along with a trend graph and fault warnings.

The HygroCal100 provides a stable test chamber to quickly evaluate the performance of relative humidity sensors across a wide range of 5 to 95% relative humidity.

Its intuitive 4” touch screen display and interface allows the probes under test to be fully integrated with the chamber and user interface (UI), so up to 7 probes with a variety of diameters and output signals can be powered, monitored and logged simultaneously by one self contained unit.

The HygroCal100 allows you to automate your calibration procedure with ease, and will provide a complete logged output of all probes under test against the reference instrument in csv format, ready to download to your USB memory device.

Coupled with an Optidew Vision chilled mirror hygrometer, the HygroCal100 becomes a powerful transportable calibration facility.

The HygroCal100 can optionally be fitted with a high capacity battery pack, which can power the generator and 7 sensors under test for up to 8 hours. The unit can also run from mains power while charging the battery.

The DCS system is a complete rack-mounted calibration station capable of producing a flow of air (or nitrogen) at a pre-specified range of dew-point temperatures from a minimum of -100°C (-148°F) to a maximum of +20°C (+68°F). Through customization the DCS system can be PC controlled for automated calibration sequences or manually operated at pre-determined dew-point set points.

When ordering this system, simply specify the required operating range, and Michell Instruments will determine the most economical way to construct your calibration system.
