Wet Pour Surfaces
Wet Pour rubber safety surfacing is suitable for playground installations where impact absorbent surfacing is a requirement up to the appropriate Maximum Free Fall Height (see chart below). It can be used around complex configurations of playground equipment and ground contours.
Wet Pour surfacing for playgrounds is slip-resistant and non-abrasive to young children. It is porous, so no puddles.
Colourful graphics can be created within the Wet Pour for games or emblems. This is done by designing a stencil and cutting out the top layer to replace it with contrasting colours. Or pattren tiles can be placed on the base layer and lay top layer wet pour around them.
Wet Pour surfacing for playgrounds is slip-resistant and non-abrasive to young children. It is porous, so no puddles.

Bonding Resins
It is a polyeurothane resins for binding wet pour and rubber mulch. It comes in 220kg drums and 25kg kegs.
Be aware the standard resins have a slight UV yellowing effect noticable in colours such as egg white, light grey and light blue.

MonsterPave
onsterPave is a water permeable, hard but not brittle paving system using a blend of naturally decorative aggregates and recycled SBR rubber granules from used tyres.
This meets the assessibility requirement for wheel chair users, prams and buggies. MonsterPave can be laid at 25mm depth over concrete or tarmac sub base or at 35mm depth over well compacted stone. The materials must be bound with our specially formulated high tensile polyurethane binder in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Rubber Mulch Installation
MonsterMulch have long experienced Bonded Mulch specialists ready to install to the highest quality and safety standard. Our installers are CRB approved and experienced in working in controlled environments such as schools and public places. Our team will do all the groundwork necessary making using levelling equipment including laser leveller, rotavator, compactor, membrane and Baron 120 litre forced action mixer to fully mix the rubber mulch and resin aggregate.
Through our experience we have come to know all the methods and potential pitfalls for working with any type of ground including all drainage and roots implications. Just provide us with the dimensions and details of what you require and we can provide you with a quote.

Wet Pour Installation
MonsterMulch offer annual inspections to ensure your playground equipment maintains the correct level of safety. Our playground inspection engineers are fully accredited to the register of play inspectors. Inspectors will check all equipment providing a written report informing you of any equipment that isn’t compliant and in need of necessary maintenance

Brighten up and protect your existing rubber mulch to be as good as and better than new.
Rubber mulch coating is biodegradable and will oxidate therefor a good coating protects it for years.
Rather than have the cost of a total re-install we can repair, clean and respray for just a fraction of the cost.
This will require inspecting and reinforcing any weak areas and cleaning it for the respray.
The respray is the most efficient way to add a number of coats that will make the rubber mulch more resilient than when originally installed.
As this is a new product and so there are no long term studies but we believe this will substantially improve the play areas look and longevity.

An artificial grass outdoor carpet is completely porous so it’s ideal for urban areas as rain water can drain through it and it doesn’t become muddy in wet weather. Once installed, the newest technologies of carpet mean that the artificial fibres are more UV stable so they keep their colour for a long time and are resistant to fading from sun exposure.
