Network Controllers

Mifare Readers

Nedap uPASS Reach

The Nedap uPASS Reach reader offers long-range vehicle identification up to 5 metres using the latest UHF technology.

The reader is installed next to the gate or barrier that is being controlled. A long-range passive UHF tag visible in direct line of sight will be identified at up to 5 metres.

The reader output allows the access control system to open the gate/barrier when an authorised vehicle arrives without the need for the driver to present a card or badge.

Nedap uPASS Target

The uPASS Target is a robust solution for long-range identification of vehicles, people and rolling stock. It is ideal both for access control to gated sites and for close monitoring of traffic flow activities at industrial sites and logistic depots.

Its Plug-and-Play features enable it to be installed in just a few simple steps. Its variety of industry-standard communication interfaces supports seamless integration into any existing or new third party systems for access control, logistic operations, security and parking.

The uPASS Target complies with the standards for reading EPC Gen 2 passive UHF tags.

Nedap Transit Ultimate

Robust long-range reader, based on semi active RFID technology, which enables automatic vehicle identification at distances of up to 10 metres and speeds of up to 125 mph.

NorParc Counting Software

Windows based level counting and parking guidance system that provides centralised count management, monitoring and guidance control for parking facilities that have multiple entry and exit points and/or several individual levels or sections.

FeeMaster Smart Software

Nortech's Feemaster Smart software is a parking management software which runs on a standard specification PC and communicates with an attendants console via a USB/RS485 adaptor and interface cable. The cable plugs into a socket on the rear of the console and can be temporarily connected for configuration and for downloading the transaction log, or it can be permanently connected where constant transaction monitoring is required.

The program enables the administrator to add, remove and modify authorised users, gather data on past transactions, configure tariff programs and rates, and configure how the console operates. This includes what is printed on receipts and exit tokens and what appears on the customer fee display.

Parking Management - FeeMaster Smart

The FeeMaster Smart range offers a modular solution for a variety of parking management applications from simple car park control to full parking fee management and payment systems

Single Channel Vehicle Detector

Identifies the presence of vehicles by means of an inductive loop buried under the road. The range includes PD130, PD132, PD134, PD139, PD232, PD234 products

Variable Message Sign

Primarily designed to display the number of available car parking spaces.

The Variable Message Sign (VMS) product range is designed to be used in conjunction with Nortech’s NCT100 and NCT200 counter modules to monitor and display count values such as the number of available spaces in a car park.

DU700 Detector Diagnostic Unit

The information collected by the DU700 and the smartphone app can be used to verify that a parking detector installation is working correctly.

The DU700 attaches to the front of any of the 7 Series parking detectors and acquires data from the detector via an optic link. The Nortech DU Diagnostics App supplied free for iOS or Android based smart devices is used to communicate with the DU700 and display the acquired data.

Data acquired from the detector is sent via the Bluetooth link to the App running on the smart device, which then displays information such as: loop excitation frequency, loop frequency drift, minimum and maximum level detection, and detector DIP switch configuration. The App is also able to generate a report that can be used to formally sign off a site or be sent for expert analysis where a fault is suspected.

Nortech Hotel Parking & Hotel Revenue

It’s possible to both improve guest satisfaction and contribute to income by reserving hotel car parking spaces for guests and collecting parking revenue for the use of the hotel car park. Nortech's FeeMaster Smart product range enables hotel management to control access of the hotel car park without the need for expensive pay-on-foot equipment.

Full Colour Multi-Level Message Signs

High intensity, full colour LED signs designed to display the available spaces on each level of a multi-level car park or available spaces in each of several associated car parks. They can be used in standalone counting solutions, full parking count management Systems and shared parking applications.

Licence Plate ID

With Nedap’s ANPR Access licence plate readers together with Nortech’s Norpass access control system, vehicle licence plates can be used as valid ID for allowing authorised vehicles into controlled areas as well as for tracking the vehicles’ movements.

Norpass3 Access Control Software

Norpass3 can run on any standard specifications Windows PC, and its integral web server supports additional workstations without the need to install special software on them.

An Installation Wizard enables installers to configure the system quickly and efficiently, while user operations such as enrolling new cardholders and setting appropriate access rights are fast and simple. Information feedback is comprehensive and easy to follow.

The innovative Norpass Virtual System (NVS) allows installers to configure and test the system on any PC in advance of installation, and then take the configuration to site on a memory stick, saving time and minimising disruption.

CRC400 Universal Reader Interface

The CRC400 range of Universal Reader Interface (URI) products enables access control/membership software running on a PC to communicate with multiple card readers and manage access via barriers and turnstiles.

People and Vehicle Access

The ability to control access for people both when they are on foot and when they are driving a vehicle offers great benefits in many applications. Achieving this using the same electronic ID card for both applications offers simpler management and reduces cost.

If each authorised member of staff or customer is issued with an electronic ID card (proximity card or smart card) to allow them access to secured areas within a building or installation, it can be possible to allow them to use the same card to authorise the entry of their vehicle onto the site or into the car park. In addition, their vehicle can be registered on the access control system to prevent unauthorised vehicles from entering or leaving the site.
