On-Site Calibration
Our on-site calibration service isn't just a calibration procedure it is Inspection, test and calibration rolled into one. This ensures each piece of equipment gets the maximum benefit from the time the engineer spends on it to ensure it is in the best possible condition after testing. If any minor defects are detected but are easily repairable without spare parts then they will be repaired as a part of inspection, test and calibration service otherwise a repair will have to be arranged at additional cost.
The great benefit for our on-site Test, Inspection and Calibration service is that you are able to get all you listed medical equipment tested in on-visit with the minimum of distruption to your practice. As we usually send two person to do the work this will ensure much less time is taken for compeletion. A single engineer may take 6 to 8 hours to complete a site but in our case two person can get the job done in half that time. We are not aware of any other company who send two person as standard practice we are unique in that respect.
Again we must stress that all our technicians are fully trained and experienced and qualified to carry out the services we provide, they are also regularly assessed and re-trained as required to ensure they are up to date with newer equipment and the latest regulation.

The on-site prices stated are for health centres or surgeries. The equipment has to be mixed in the usual proportions. For example we would not expect a surgery to have 3 ECG units. Most practices only have one ECG unit. If a surgery has unusual quantities of certain types of equipment then you should request a quotation by submitting on-line quotation form telling us exactly what equipment you have.

Express Calibration
This service is designed to deal with any equipment which you suspect is inaccurate or you have aquired a piece of equipment which does not appear to have any evidence of valid calibration. You could request a site visit to get one or two items calibrated but this is usually expensive for so few items. Under these circumstances it is much more cost effective to parcel the items to us so we can calibrate them in house then return them to you.

Breakdown & Repairs
Occasionally equipment does malfunction or become very unreliable. Should this happen it it is often more economical to have the equipment repaired. We provide a very broad repair service and will attempt to repair anything which is economical to repair. Our repair services are usually targeted on capital equipment such as ECGs and Spirometers. Medical Equipment Maintenance
For certain equipment a once a year calibration is simply not enough. Maintenance is required to ensure the equipment performs satisfactorily throughout its commision. For such equipment routine servicing or planned preventative maintenance is necessary.
Maintenance can be carried out on-site or the equipment can be sent to us for serviceing at our workshop. Maintenance can also be combined with a calibration visit.. The cost of maintenance is then added on. Equipment which benefit from annual maintenance is ECG units, Spirometers, Thermocautery, Nebulisers etc.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing)
Please note any medical equipment that we maintain through our Inspection, Test & Calibration service is fully electrical safety tested as part of the service. We are fully qualified to carry out Medical Equipment Electrical Safety Testing. ( AKA Medical PAT Testing )
PAT testing only service for non-medical devices or office equipment is a simpler affair and is kept as a separate service. A dedicated PAT testing electrician will carry this out. PAT testing can be done on the same day as Calibration if required, we recomend PAT testing be done on a separate day to minimise disruption.
