Residential Portfolio: Studio Skey Croxley Road

We delivered and installed the bespoke joinery items for a four-storey Victorian home in Queens Park, London. The project featured various custom pieces, including a kitchen and island crafted in rough-sawn fumed oak veneer, which provided a unique, textured finish. Walk-in wardrobes, designed with a spray lacquered finish, were further enhanced with inlaid fabric panels, offering a touch of sophistication and personalized detail.
Bathroom vanities, constructed with micro cement, blend modern aesthetics with durability, perfectly complementing the home's contemporary bathroom design.

Residential Portfolio: Woven House, Broadstairs

Woven by Giles Miller Studio is a new home on the Kent coast, designed to bring together humans and nature. Object Atelier was commissioned to manufacture and install key joinery elements, including the kitchen, kitchen island, and storage solutions. The joinery was meticulously crafted to create a striking contrast against the light wooden interior of the CLT timber construction.

The joinery fronts were crafted from ash veneer and finished with black paint, which allowed the timber's natural characteristics to remain visible, adding depth and texture to the design.
The handle design was both characterful and tactile, featuring rounded forms that provided a pleasing contrast to the joinery’s clean lines. The handles also revealed the cabinets' deep walnut interiors, adding surprise and warmth to the overall aesthetic.

Residential Portfolio: Ennerdale Road, Kew

Under the instruction of Studio Skey, we were tasked with manufacturing and installing bespoke joinery for a three-bedroom semi-detached Edwardian home with stunning views over Kew Gardens. The joinery design incorporated contemporary and classic elements tailored to suit different areas of the house.

The ground floor featured a modern twist on the classic shaker style; the joinery included a custom kitchen with an island, wall panelling, and alcove units. These pieces combined traditional craftsmanship with modern design for a cohesive and elegant look.

Upstairs, the joinery took a more minimalist and contemporary approach, using white-washed oak veneer throughout the office and craft room. This created a clean, bright, and airy atmosphere, perfectly aligning with the home's aesthetic. In the bedrooms, the joinery included custom bedside tables crafted from dark-stained oak, finished with a clear lacquer, adding a touch of warmth and contrast to the lighter elements of the home.

Commercial Portfolio: Duke Street Mews

A Georgian mews house, home to an asset management firm, has undergone a comprehensive redesign spanning all four floors. Previously, the corporate offices lacked multifunctional spaces and a distinct identity. The redesign has reimagined the space to align with the company's ethos and functional needs. Bespoke joinery and partitions enhanced the meeting rooms, reception area, and workspaces, providing a more cohesive and tailored environment.

Commercial Portfolio: Red Lion, Scalpel Building

Red Lion is an independent coffee company renowned for serving the finest coffee in the Scalpel Building. Designed closely with owner Chris Mckie, the shop harmoniously blends with its steely city surroundings on Lime Street. To create a warm and inviting atmosphere within the unit, Chris chose rich, solid Siberian larch for the joinery, complemented by lush planting that adds a touch of nature to the urban environment.
This thoughtful design approach ensures that every visit to Red Lion feels refreshing and cosy, making it a standout destination in the city's heart.
