Aluminium Cutting

Orgbar Aluminium has a range specialist blades and saws that enables us to cut extruded aluminium cleanly to the required length, whether they need to be straight (from 10mm to 4 metres) or mitre cut (between 25 - 90 degrees). The parts are always cut with a cutting tolerance as agreed with you. In an effort to avoid any waste, the length it will be delivered in to us will depend on the size of the finished part required.

Aluminium Extrusion Supply

Extrusion is a process that provides virtually unlimited opportunities for adapting product shapes and can be designed to incorporate screw ports, hinges, heat sink fins, PCB slots and more. Using fewer components cuts costs, reducing the finishing process and simplifying assembly. The longevity and attractive properties make aluminium a popular option when designing a product.

Design Consultation

We know that decisions made in the design stage can sometimes hinder the aluminium extrusion process. That's why we are happy to help you with the design stage. Our experienced cad designer knows exactly what’s needed to make your extrusions work for your requirements. Good design sets precedent for strong, reliable and cost effective aluminium extrusion.

Anodising Aluminium

Anodising is a process that converts a metal surface into a decorative, durable and corrosion-resistant finish. It creates a product that is smooth and pleasant to touch, with colour and sheen. Anodising preserves the appearance of the part which prolongs the aesthetic life of the finish, as well as giving surfaces an electrically insulated coating and improving corrosion resistance.

Polishing Aluminium

Polishing uses chemical or mechanical finishes and can be used to enhance the look of aluminium parts on vehicles, TV and Hi-Fi stands, cookers, door furniture, handles and many more. Mechanical finishes are achieved by the use of various methods, for example buffing, brushing and bead blasting. Polishing can help improve the corrosion and wear resistance and hardness of the part, as well as removing burrs and other surface flaws.

Machining Extrusion

We have an extensive and flexible machining capacity to machine anything, from the simplest and smallest sections through to the more complex and largest aluminium extrusions. We are aware that speed is of the essence these days, so we strive to support our customers with fast turn around times, whilst maintaining an excellent service and continued quality under our ISO 9001 certification.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a high-quality finish used on a wide array of products, both internally and externally, for example in lighting, curtain tracks, doors and windows, office furniture and shop fittings. The main finish reflects the gloss level of the final product, usually being Gloss, Satin or Matt. Orgbar also offers a choice between Flat Finish and Metallic. It is down to the customer as to how they want their finished part to look.

Aluminium Welding

Aluminium welding is trickier than steel welding but it is something that Orgbar can offer. We supply aluminium extrusion that is mitre cut and then welded to provide our customers with corner sections. We can also weld tags on to the end of caps that then fit on the end of the extrusion.
