Syb Rypma arrived in Southwest Canada in 1992 and established Phantom Screens from a single car garage with the help of a local family. In order to achieve their dream, they built a company that focuses on quality, exceptional products, and excellent customer service.
As America's largest and most recognized screen brand, Phantom Screens has expanded across Australasia, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe with the same values and customer service as when it started.

The popularity of screens on this side of the Atlantic has increased as our climate patterns have changed and our architecture has evolved. They have also been able to expand their functionality to accommodate solar management and privacy requirements.
As property design has changed, our screens have evolved to become more like a part of the property itself - matching existing frame colours, integrating with home automation systems, and retracting out of sight when not in use.
All our screens are manufactured here in the UK to the original high-spec standards set by the company's founders.
