Replacement Cartridges, Bags & Pleated Filters

Replacement Cartridges, Bags & Pleated Filters

We replace cartridge, capsules, junior, highflow, bag and carbon filter products from all British, European, US and Asian manufacturers with a comprehensive range of micron ratings, cartridge formats and lengths, endcaps or collars to allow retrofitting of any existing filter housing.
Membrane Cartridge Filters

Membrane Cartridge Filters

Membrane cartridge filters ensure the complete removal of microorganisms in sterile liquid applications, or spoilage organism removal to ensure shelf life in food & beverage applications. Often known as final, sterile or POU filters, a 0.2 micron membrane cartridge filter is the last filter used in manufacturing prior to packaging.

All membrane cartridges are constructed from material meeting USFDA Title 21 and USP Class VI. The filter also meets the current USP requirements for extractables. All are steam sterilizable and integrity testable.
Depth Cartridge Filters

Depth Cartridge Filters

Depth filters (also known as spun or meltblown filters) are normally used when there is a broad range of contamination to be removed, or when the range is an unknown. They're used to remove particulate and contamination, such as hazes, gels, and agglomerations, from liquids throughout the process industries.

For example, a 1 micron DCF, prevents damage, blockage, or wear and tear of process pipework and equipment - valves, heat exchangers - that process liquids pass through. And a 5 micron DCF ensures the visual clarity of liquids in beverage applications. PoreFiltration offers a full product range for new and retrofit applications.
Pleated Depth Cartridge Filters

Pleated Depth Cartridge Filters

All your particulate control, clarification and prefiltration needs covered.

When the range of particulate contamination is better understood and narrower in range then pleated depth cartridge filters are used because of their pleated filter media. This offers far better flow characteristics than similar sized depth cartridge filters, reducing initial capital cost or reducing running costs by signficantly extending the cartridge service life.

Acting as a prefilter, pleated depth cartridge filters perform an important role by protecting follow-on membrane technologies - microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis - so their efficacy and service life can be maximised.
PTFE Gas Cartridge Filters

PTFE Gas Cartridge Filters

Our SurePore PTFE gas cartridge filter series is crafted utilizing a hydrophobic PTFE membrane renowned for its exceptional flow capacity. This feature ensures minimal clean differential pressures and prolonged service life. The cartridge hardware is meticulously engineered with a wide bore polypropylene core and endcaps, optimizing cartridge flow efficiency.

The SurePore PTFE Gas range offers validated absolute sterilization capabilities, making it ideal for critical applications. Engineered to withstand multiple steam sterilization cycles at high temperatures, these products undergo thorough integrity testing using standard methods. Compliant with USFDA Title 21 and USP Class VI standards, the filter also meets current USP requirements for extractables.
Glass Fibre Gas Cartridge Filters

Glass Fibre Gas Cartridge Filters

PurePore GF gas cartridge filter range combines established depth filter technology, with a pleated high surface area construction, and sterile filtration to 0.02 micron in gas. These sterile gas cartridges contain pleated borosilicate glass fibre media, surface modified with fluoropolymer to providing hydrophobic properties, allowing operation where small amounts of condensate are present.

Flow rates of PurePore GF Gas are typically 2-3 times that of PTFE membrane filters, such as SurePore PTFE Gas and this that dramatically reduces cartridge usage and/or installation size impacting running and capex costs.
Coalescing Cartridge Filters

Coalescing Cartridge Filters

Coalescing filters are indispensable for maintaining the purity and quality of compressed air systems, offering a range of key benefits. Firstly, they excel at removing contaminants, including oil aerosols, water vapor, liquid droplets, dust, dirt, and other particulates, thereby ensuring air of superior cleanliness and dryness.

This enhanced air quality is particularly crucial for industries like pharmaceuticals, food processing, and electronics manufacturing. Moreover, by eliminating these contaminants, coalescing filters safeguard sensitive equipment such as pneumatic tools, machinery, valves, and more from wear, corrosion, and clogging, consequently extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.

Ultimately, the use of coalescing filters leads to improved process efficiency, making them an essential component in various industrial applications

Carbon filters are renowned for their exceptional ability to effectively remove impurities, odours, and contaminants from air, water, and other fluids. Utilising their highly porous structure carbon filters adsorb molecules, resulting in cleaner and purer output.

Common contaminants removed by carbon filters include Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) such as benzene, formaldehyde, and toluene, which are commonly found in household products, paints, and industrial emissions. Chlorine and Chloramines; Efficiently eliminate chlorine and chloramines from water, improving taste and odour. Odours and Foul Smells; Highly effective at neutralising and removing unpleasant odours and foul smells from air and water sources; Organic Contaminant remove organic contaminants, including pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals.
Inline Filters

Inline Filters

Protecting industrial, water treatment, and food & beverage manufacturing processes from contamination in raw materials, ingredients and water.

Inline filters are initial filtration steps to control and prevent particulates and contaminates entering the manufacturing process protecting valves, pumps, seals, and heat exchangers from clogging, damage and failure. By doing this at the earliest possible point in the manufacturing process, equipment downtime is minimised, ensuring longer operational service periods, which reduces running costs.
Stainless Steel Filter Cartridges

Stainless Steel Filter Cartridges

When liquid temperatures are too high for polymeric filter cartridges.

Stainless Steel (St. St.) cartridge filters retain their strength as liquid temperatures increase which makes them suitable for elevated temperature liquid filtration, where polymetric (polypropylene, nylon, polyester or glass fibre) cartridges are not viable. Staineless Steel filter cartridges have:

A broad range of chemical compatibility
Mechanically strong which makes them ideal for high viscosity applications
Are cleanable either by ultrasonics or chemical cleaning
Reusable through many elevated temperature cycles

Stainless Steel filters also play a key role in the filtration of steam due to their thermal strength protecting process equipment and pipework from damage by contaminants entrained in the steam.
