The Alicat PC series range of pressure controllers have single control valves with different valve options dependent on your application.

The Alicat PCD series are dual valved pressure controllers. All pressure controllers are available with a remote pressure sense port should your process require it.

The PC and PCD series pressure controllers from Alicat are also available for more aggressive applications featuring all 316 stainless steel wetted parts and FFKM seal options.

Every single pressure controller from Alicat features an analogue output signal as well as RS232 data communications.

Vacuum Regulators

Vacuum Regulators

Equilibar precision vacuum regulators are designed specifically to control a highly stable inlet pressure across widely varying input conditions. These regulators show very little effect from either variation in supply vacuum or changes in flow rate. Equilibar precision vacuum regulators work differently than traditional vacuum control valve designs. The Equilibar uses a flexible diaphragm as the only moving part. This diaphragm is used to directly seal against the internal valve orifices. This eliminates the “stiction” commonly found in traditional vacuum control valves that rely on dynamic o-ring or wiper type seals. The friction caused by these seals prevents the regulator from making tiny adjustments. The Equilibar design is frictionless and can control vacuum with very high resolution.

Steriflow Mark 95FT series is a sanitary “flow through” back pressure regulator, the flow through design allows greater application potential. The Mark 95FT BPR may eliminate sections of by-pass line components as it provides an installation in the primary line, allowing process fluid to bypass out of the bottom of the valve should an over pressurisation event occur.

Our Longer Pumps range of Syringe pumps are mainly for laboratory or OEM use.

The laboratory range of syringe pumps are available to infuse or withdraw liquids with syringe sizes from as little as 1 μL up to 100 ml.

Programming options allow for complex infusion or withdrawal processes and can include stepped functions, constant or ramped speed as well as a trigger dispense or periodic dispense.

Output signals from the pumps can show when a process has started or stopped as well as the direction. Further communication protocols can exist over RS232 or RS485.

A high pressure syringe pump allows for a linear force greater than 450N.
OEM syringe pumps allow for single and multi-channel applications.
Compressed Air Flow Meters

Compressed Air Flow Meters

The CS Instruments VA 500 series of compressed air and gases sensor works on the calorific principle in a robust housing with and without local display.

The sensor is inserted into the flow path and can be done so even under pressure with the optional drilling jig.

VA 500 is mounted with a standard 1/2" ball valve allowing it to be installed or removed from the process with ease. A safety ring avoids an uncontrolled ejection of the probe which may be caused by the operating pressure.

Processes, applications or sites which contain compressed air, nitrogen (N2), argon (Ar) or oxygen (O2) systems may contain leaks. For compressed air systems in particular, leakages are known to be the biggest cause of wasted energy. Studies have shown that reducing leaks in compressed air systems can reduce the cost of compressed air by up to 30% when leaks are eliminated.

CS instruments LD range of handheld leak detectors can not only detect leaks in compressed gas pipe work but they can also calculate the costs these leaks will cause over time.

Our range of variable area flow meters are for high-pressure flow applications, for use with liquids and gases. All feature standard scale setup for either air, water or hydraulic oil; however we can create custom flow scales for most fluids and gases.

Various model options exist, the standard basic meter which offers a visual indication is also available for high temperature applications or phosphate ester liquids. Flow switches and flow transmitters are also available where your application may require a level of control.

Both the case drain monitor and clear view flow meter are lower pressure versions of our liquid variable area flow meters.
