QED Hi-K containers are thermoformed from high impact ABS and constructed to give both inner and outer walls filled with a high density rigid polyurethane foam. This construction gives both excellent physical and thermal protection to the contents. Available in a range of standard sizes, bespoke designs can also be offered. Bespoke internal foam fitments are also available, along with labelling and screen printing. A range of options include − pressure relief valves (PRV), humidity indicators, internal dividers and moulded trays.

These attractive and versatile cases are produced in twelve standard sizes. Aluminium effect in appearance and manufactured from tough self-coloured ABS plastic, they retain their good looks for the life of the case.
Other colours can be made to order.
These cases are weatherproof and fitted with lockable catches as standard. Blank mounting panels are available from stock, complete with QED’s unique fixing system, which allows for quick assembly. Custom panels can also be supplied pre-machined and printed to your specification.
QED offer a full design and manufacture solution for the supply of shaped foam inserts either from detailed specifications, or the loan of the items to be packed. Alternatively “Pick & Pluck” foam sets are available, which can be easily shaped to suit individual needs.

Manufactured in tough, self coloured plastic, this versatile container offers a very cost effective packaging solution for the smaller item.
Designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of Def Stan 81-65 and 81-77, these containers were originally intended for printed circuit boards, but their potential was soon expanded upon and the size range increased rapidly.
Hundreds of sizes are now available, many of which have been NATO codified, they are lined with flexible urethane foam as standard (except where indicated).
Specially tailored liners to suit individual items are also available on request.

They are resistant to most chemicals and solvents and are integrally coloured to give resistance to chipping and fading.
Handles, turnfasteners, automatic pressure relief valves and humidity indicators are recessed within the container walls for improved protection.
Lids are fitted with a sealing gasket and can be either hinged or removable.
Design can be reversed to give a shallow platform base with a removable cover.
