I've been with Qimtek as a buyer for about 4 years now and it's absolutely the way to go. Instead of cold calling getting little to no responses. I spoke with Caroline and she gets me exactly what I want with incredible efficiency. In business everything is competition an efficiency wins, so you need to use Qimtek in order to be competitive. What use to take me 4 or 5 weeks to find someone, now takes less than an hour. For the majority of companies that are not at near full capacity, not using this platform you are putting yourself at a massive disadvantage to where me personally wouldn't have a business without Qimtek. It would like trying to find gold without a metal detector. Yes It's saves a lot of money but more importantly it's saves the one thing you can't get back which is time. Speed is controllable time. When it comes to business, speed is everything.

Having used Qimtek for a few years now, I've always found the whole process to be quick and simple. Aaron is brilliant and always keeps me informed on the how my quotes are getting on and also keeps in touch every couple of months.
I've found some great suppliers through the portal, highly recommended if you're looking for a simple to use process and want multiple quotes to compare and an introduction to different machining companies.

We joined Qimtek in mid-August 2024 to explore new clients across a broader range of industries. Once I was set up, I began receiving numerous machining opportunities and submitted several quotes. By the first week of September, I had nearly recouped my membership fees with two new customers, one of whom seems likely to provide repeat business. Additionally, I've secured three other jobs from the same buyer, which is promising.

Qimtek helps us to get the best lead times and prices for the materials (bespoke components) that we are ordering. Being a small business, we don't have the manpower to go out for mulitple quotes so we just send Qimtek the drawings and they can either get multiple suppliers to quote the parts or one that can do the lot.
