At R&B Industrial Ltd we have fully trained face fit testers to provide Face Fit Testing in Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Dorset . The face fit tester can offer services by travelling directly to your organisation in the South of England or, we can now offer customers the option of our ‘walk in’ face fit testing clinic.

This would enable the option of group or individual bookings at the cost of £75 per person with one of our fully trained consultants here at our office based in Hampshire. 

This service is particularly useful when you have a new recruit or temporary staff.

DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres) came into force as a result of the EU ATEX directive and Chemical Agents directive, but remains in force following Brexit.

The main aim of DSEAR Risk Assessments are to protect people from the risk associated with combustion vapours, gases, mists and dusts. The gases and dusts considered within the DSEAR regulations are often produced during operations within the production areas of factories, across many different industries such as food production, metal working, cleaning product manufacture and many other industries. 

Exposure to high levels of noise can irreparably damage the hearing of employees, profoundly affecting their ability to communicate, interact in the workplace and their quality of life.

Noise at work can cause hearing loss which can be temporary or permanent. While people may recover from temporary deafness after leaving a noisy workplace, people who experience continuous exposure to loud noise are likely to suffer permanent damage.

This includes muffled hearing, inability to keep up with conversations and difficulty using the telephone, and potential loss of hearing or forms of tinnitus in the future.

In the UK, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations has focused the attention of industry on the need to protect the workforce from exposure to hazardous substances in the workplace, COSHH and LEV Testing are essential in achieving this.

Alongside this we have a our in house system and engineer who by using our special software generate graphics of how a bespoke system or unit could fit in a building. 

CAD is a great drawing software which helps you break down your ideas in to components and is a fantastic visualisation tool which can realistically describe what your project or idea is going to look like once it is a reality. The great thing about drawing out your ideas in this level of detail prior to building them into reality is that you can ‘try it out for size’ before going ahead and can easily make any changes whilst your project is still in the design phase.

Plasma cutting is a fast and precise way of cutting your material saving much of the manual activities carried out by fabricators using traditional methods of metal sheet cutting. Using a ‘waterbed’ extraction, the machines software uses laser positioning to precisely cut detailed shapes whilst ensuring a quicker production period (timescale) with its digital height sense and voltage control (DTHC)

We can cut a wide range of varied materials to your specification.

The design engineer sends his drawings from his CAD design directly to the Plasma computer. The computer then sends the plotted route through its CNC axes.
