The company was founded in 2002 and incorporated in July 2003.

Clifford Camfield having accumulated fifteen years experience in the wet-pour safety surfacing industry, had the desire to start his own company - providing a high class service with a great understanding of tailoring to every individual client’s needs; sharing his knowledgeable ideas of colour schemes, patterns and designs as well as fully themed areas.

Throughout the life of the company these values have been up held, just as they are today. We are very proud of our work and each project carries a three year guarantee.

We are a small but reliant company who prides ourselves upon excellence, collectively having over 35 years’ experience in our specialised area of business: making us one of the country’s most respected companies in wet-pour safety surfacing. Although we are based in Lancashire, we deliver our outstanding service Nationwide.

Wet-pour safety surfacing is a synthetic rubber surface designed to reduce the risk of injuries to children at play. Using the wet-pour method gives a seamless finish to your play area. All our safety surfacing is tested to BS EN 1177 standard. We are also a trusted member of constructionline and so have been tested to an elite standard of safety.

Safety is our primary concern upon arrival at site, an assessment is carried out by the site manager and appropriate equipment and safety clothing is issued. In addition to employee safety, there is always a first aider present at the site of construction.

Rainbow Safety Surfacing Ltd strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible and use recycled tyres in the majority of our materials.
