Large Screens for Signage

Large Size TFT Panels instantly grab the attention of potential customers. RDS offer a wide range of products, including FULL HD panels, along with custom driver and mounting solutions. We can supply just the panel or a complete kit of parts.

Phillips Digital Signage Displays

AAEON Digital Signage Solutions

Aaeon produce a number of products that work together to form a complete digital signage solution.

Aaeon Gateways take standard video signals from a wide variety of sources, via DVI, then broadcast the video via Ethernet and TCP/IP to Aaeon Remote Display devices.

JH065LPNN

The JH065JPNN is a high brightness display from JNM which provides a range of Displays that utilise a modified LED backlight system. All displays within the range come supplied with tailor made LED Backlight Drivers. (The picture shown is not the actual part.)

TFT Colour Displays

We have a huge selection of panels available from Tianma/NLT, Palm Technologies and Solomon Goldentek. The panels range from 2.7 inches to 23 inches in various brightness levels and resolutions.

High Brightness Displays

Standard colour TFT Displays are often unable to provide sufficient levels of brightness for environments offering high ambient light or direct sunlight. As a result you have a display that provides poor image quality.
There are a number of technologies that drastically improve a display's readability in bright conditions, including NLT transflective technology, super high brightness backlights and optical bonded touch panels.

Alphanumeric LCD

RDS can offer a wide range of Alphanumeric LCD Module solutions for applications needing a low cost display solution. The Palmtech range of LCD displays are ideal for industrial applications, offering a number of standard formats each with a wide range of options to choose from.

Graphic LCD Modules

The Palmtech range of LCD displays are ideal for industrial applications, offering a number of standard formats each with a wide range of options to choose from. All these screens are reflective and have STN LCD fluid, other Transflective or Transmissive backlit options are also available.

Electroluminescent Displays

RDS provides a range of Electroluminescent Displays which are manufactured by Lumineq. These displays range from Thin Film EL Displays to Transparent EL Displays.

OLED Modules

OLED technology has many advantages over traditional LCD displays. They function without the need for backlight, resulting in deeper black levels and can be thinner and lighter than liquid crystal displays. In low ambient light conditions such as dark rooms, an OLED screen can achieve a higher contrast ratio than an LCD using a backlight system. They also benefit from faster response times, improved contrast and brightness levels, wide viewing angles and better power efficiency.

Projected Capacitive Touch Screens

Due to its highly durable and smooth surface, Projected Capacitive Input (PCI) is suitable for medical and industrial touch display applications, and an ideal touch solution for the embedded applications such as industrial data loggers, car GPS or Personal Navigation Devices, Game Consoles and personal entertainment devices. Full-colour printing is available for the top glass as well as custom PCAP button solutions.

PCI interfaces with most Operating Systems with accurate touch positions and configurable one- and two-finger gesture recognition for the easy customization in application level.

Large PCAP Touch Screens

RDS has a range of PCAP touch controllers based on MNTech metal mesh technology which is optimized for large touch sizes, is eco-friendly and reduces manufacturing costs. These panels are durable, supports at least 10 point multi-touch, Palm rejection, waterproofing and has narrow bezels for easy mounting. The panel can have a variety of surface coatings such as anti-glare and supports USB as standard.

Capacitive Touch Screens

Industry-standard, feature-rich, application flexible capacitive touch controllers 3M MicroTouch EX II Series controllers bring flexibility and feature-rich functionality to capacitive and resistive touch screen applications. This high performance electronics platform is based on the innovative MicroTouch EX II ASIC, designed to provide higher resolution touch coordinates, on-chip RAM, and a wider operating temperature range. With expanded regulatory approvals, improved power modes, and enhanced ESD and EMI protection, this controller series is a robust, proven solution for popular touch applications.

Resistive Touch Screens

Resistive touch panel from AMT represent a cost effective solution to providing operators with a touch input device. Available in a wide range of screen sizes and 4,5 or 8 wire Technology. 4 wire is ideal for screen sizes below 10.4 inch, above this screen size 8 wire technology is recommended and for applications needing extended lifetime a 5 wire device would be more suitable.

Chassis Monitors

Industrial Chassis Monitor's are fully enclosed displays ideal for control room, retail and POS applications. Options include composite video, touch screen and protective window.

Marine Monitors

RDS provide a range of Marine Solutions which are a range of Rugged Panel PC Monitors and kKyboards and Trackballs that are IEC60945 approved and are all specifically designed to excel in the harsh marine environment.

Ideal for price sensitive applications, low price panels and no frills metalwork and control electronics.

Panel Mount

Industrial Panel Mount Monitor's are ideal for kiosk, control room and lecturn applications. Available with plastic, metal or aluminium housing. Options include touch screen, video and protective glass.

RDS have a range of industrial power supplies for panels and embedded systems. We can supplier everything from DC to DC converters, Single DC source and standard ATX 20_4pin connector supplies for computer systems.

Display Drivers

RDS has a standard range of TFT driver cards for use with all our TFT panels. We can offer a range of drivers boards, single board computers and matching displays and cables in a simple to use kit.
