F Series 1/4” to 2”

With a pressure rating up to 300 bar as standard this smaller range of swivel joints in carbon steel come with BSPP threads male to female either straight or 90 degrees.

FS Series 1/4” to 2”

Available from stock in 316L Stainless Steel in sizes up to 2″ BSPP.
Full vacuum to 410 Bar (6000 PSI).
Nitrile, Fluorocarbon (Viton®) or PTFE seals.
Greasable or Submerged/Sealed for life options.
Full compliment ball bearing design.
NPT, JIC, SAE and other threads available as required.
Fe-male threads as standard, male threads on application.

Compact Swivel Joints

The Compact Duty Swivel Joint is based designed around industry standard ASME 16.5 150lb Raised Face Flange dimensions.

Available as standard from A105 Carbon Steel or 316L Stainless Steel, it is possible to re-drill to match other flanges standards. Other materials available on application. Nitrile, Fluorocarbon (Viton®), PTFE seals and other seals are available as required.

SK Series 1” to 6”

Ranging in size from DN 25 (1”) to DN 150 (6” nominal bore) the SK series can be supplied with most available end fittings. Threaded Swivels, BSPT, BSPP, NPT etc are often supplied up to DN 80 (3″). Flanges, Hubs and Hammer Lug Unions are available as required. Weld end prepped are available if required, however these can not be fully tested before delivery, please contact us to discuss the implications.

Large Bore 8” to 30”

Normally supplied with flanged fittings these larger swivel joints can be made from a range of materials with the option of welded overlay material on the seal and bearing surfaces to keep costs low

Multiport

Multiport Swivel Joints allow multiple flows across a common rotational axis.

Built to order from 316L Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel or any other material as application requires

Bespoke designs to meet your exact requirements. Ports exit radially or Axially.

Pressures up to 1379 Bar (20,000 PSI).
BSPP, BSPT, NPT… threaded connections SAE, ASME, PN, bespoke… flange connections or others as required.
Heavy duty bearings to support external loads.
Leak detect ports.
Mounting flanges or brackets to match your requirements.

Jacketed

As the name suggests, jacketed swivels have a larger bore ‘jacket’ over the smaller bore piped medium. This allows the temperature to be controlled via pumped water or oil. For a more efficient assembly, this can then be wrapped in insulation if required.

Subsea Swivel Joints

Deisgned to ISO 13628 (API 17D) and ISO 10423 (API 6A) and other standards as required, our sub-sea swivels are in use at depths of 3000m.

Applications can be reviewed by DNV or ABS etc as required.

Applications up to 1379 Bar (20,000 PSI) using our high pressure design.

Lower pressure designs based on our SK Series Swivel Joints.

Articulated Pipework

Should your requirements not be met by the standard styles (10 − 80) in any range of swivel joints, we can design and offer bespoke articulating pipework to fulfill your needs

Floating Arms

Commonly manufactured in stainless steel for use in fuel oil tanks, these floating arms are designed and made to order with either one or two floats depending on the tank layout.

Hyperbaric Testing

Hyperbaric testing to 6000 PSI, 400 Bar, 4000m water depth.

Vertical Chamber Internal Diameter 500mm Length 1900mm, top access.

Repair & Refurbishment

We offer a repair and seal replacement service for Rotaflow and other swivel joints. In many cases the bearing races and seal faces can be rebuilt with stainless steel or hard facing weld overlay to upgrade the swivel joint to a better than new specification.

About us

Based in Whaley Bridge, High Peak, Rotaflow FV Ltd are specialist manufactures of Flexible Couplings, Rotary Joints, Swivel Joints and Loading Arms - used to transfer fluid to a moving container from a static point both under pressure and without leakage.

Rotaflow Swivel Joints and Rotary Joints are robust and durable pipe fittings giving 360° movement and providing unrestricted flow through a clear bore.

The strong bearing area of both ball bearings and needle rollers is complimented with a choice of sealing materials for maximum application compatibility. This design has been in production since 1982 and is adapted for single or multiple flows within many processing sectors - from the Food Industry to Civil Engineering.

Apart from Loading Arm assemblies, swivel joints will provide the movement on a slowly rotating drum or remove the damaging effect of twisting on hoses. Rotaflow manufacture at Whaley Bridge in both carbon steel and 316 stainless steel with “specials” in any grade of metal to suit customer specification - range of sizes from ¼” to 24” nominal bore.
