Our Integrated Ethernet solution supports EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET industrial communication protocols. A data gateway is no longer required, enabling a direct, streamlined connection to our intelligent IQ3 Pro range actuators.

The option card is located in the actuator's double-sealed body, with only the wiring connection in the terminal compartment.

Connection is established through two RJ45 or M12 connectors located in the terminal block, and network control parameters can be configured via the actuator’s display, Insight 2, or integrated web server.

The IQ3 Pro data logs can be accessed remotely via the webserver, allowing remote data collection and uploading to Rotork’s intelligent Asset Management (iAM) cloud-based system.

Valve automation packaged solutions can include bespoke combinations of required equipment, including actuators, positioners, limit switch boxes, solenoid valves and gearboxes. Convenience is provided by a single source provider who designs, assembles and installs a packaged solution.

Carbon capture technology reduces greenhouse gas emissions by capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) from cement manufacturing, power plants, and other industrial processes. The carbon emissions are captured, sometimes repurposed, but often transported and stored underground.

CCS is integral to the low-cost range of technologies needed to support the energy transition. For industry, CCS technologies are among the cheapest carbon abatement options available. The water circular economy, where water from the sea is fed through a desalination plant to provide clean water for industrial and residential use. Fresh water from a reservoir goes through a water treatment plant to provide clean water. The wastewater from both plants is treated in a wastewater facility before being fed back to the reservoir. This circular model helps to reuse waste water, mitigate emissions, and enhances our resilience to climate change.

One of the effects of the climate crisis is increasing water scarcity and insecurity. As the impact of global warming continues to be felt, it is likely that issues surrounding access to safe, clean water will only continue to grow.

Only 3% of the world’s water is safe for human consumption. The rest is ocean water that needs to go through the desalination process to remove the salt from seawater to make it suitable for consumption and use. Desalination is becoming increasingly critical globally, with access to clean water a necessity.

The oil and gas industry is responsible for approx. 80 Mt of methane emissions annually, representing about 40% of methane emissions from human activity. These emissions can be reduced by over 75% with solutions such as leak detection, repair programmes, and upgrading leaky equipment. Methane abatement in oil and gas is very cost-effective to achieve. Around 40% of methane emissions could be avoided at no net cost.*
