Hydraulic Seals

Reciprocating hydraulics are one of the most widely used technologies for transferring force, with equipment ranging from small actuating cylinders to giant steel presses.
Reciprocating hydraulic equipment uses a wide variety of sealing devices - piston seals to generate the motive force, rod (or ram) seals to seal around the emerging rod, and wiper or scraper rings to prevent contaminant ingress.

Mechanical Seals

Mechanical Seals are used for centrifugal and positive displacement pumps in industrial, process and marine applications. Heavy duty mechanical seals are available for the most arduous service conditions including track rollers on earthmoving plant, heavy duty conveyors, and processing equipment where complete exclusion of contaminants must be maintained at all times.

Packings

SEALMASTERS supply an extensive range of gland packings, including the most advanced packing fibres, and the highest quality braiding and lubricating processes.
Our range covers all sizes of packing from 5mm to 30mm, and include square packings, round packings and tape
Material specifications include Cotton and Flax; Asbestos; Glass Fibre; Poly Acrylic Nitrile (PAN) fibres; Carbon Fibre (Kevlar); PTFE fibres, and composites of the above suitable for all applications.

Flexiseal

FLEXISEAL is a split seal developed for use where continuous seals cannot be used - where the presence of flanges or abutments prevent fitting a continuous seal along the shaft, or where the cost of stripping down the plant to enable a continuous seal to be fitted is prohibitive.
FLEXISEAL is available in split and endless types; Fabric/Rubber, Rubber only, Viton, and most other available materials.

O Rings

SEALMASTERS not only supply the entire manufactured range of O-Rings, we can offer special sizes to order.
Our bonding facility enables us to make virtually any size O Ring imaginable.
SEALMASTERS O-Rings are available in fluorocarbon elastomer, silicone or nitrile rubber, ethylene propylene, and PTFE coated elastomer, to cope with any situation.

Gaskets

SEALMASTERS can supply all types of gasket, in all materials.
Solid metal washers and gaskets can be supplied in Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Monel Metal, "Armco" Iron and Chrome Steel.

Shaft Repair Sleeves

Oil seals work to retain vital lubricants, and exclude harmful contaminants, allowing sensitive bearings and components to operate in a clean environment.
In dirty or dusty environments particles can infiltrate the seal, and contaminate the oil lubrication film, forming a damaging abrasive. This process can result in grooving or polishing of the shaft, both of which will prevent the oil film seal working properly. This results in a leaky seal or contaminated lubricant.
The traditional repair method is to either replace the shaft, or remetalise the worn area. These alternatives are expensive or time consuming.

Established in 1991, Sealmasters Ltd were conceived as a partnership with Seal Technology Systems, a leading distributor of bespoke fluid seal solutions across the United Kingdom.

Based in Cardiff, our company has become a fully independent supplier of various sealant solutions for industrial applications.
