STYLISH SECONDARY WINDOWS

Founded in 1966, Royal Warrant Holder Selectaglaze is the UK’s leading designer, manufacturer and installer of secondary glazing systems.

Secondary windows are separate tailor-made units fitted to the inside (room side) of existing windows to form double windows or “double glazing”. Frames have a permanent, easily maintained finish available in a wide choice of colours, including timber-grained. As the original window remains unaltered blinds or drapes are usually unaffected and professional installation ensures minimal disruption to the building and its occupants.

Selectaglaze’s systems are used in all types of properties including residential, offices, hotels, museums, libraries, schools, places of worship and hospitals. In fact, wherever there is a need to improve energy efficiency, reduce draughts and enhance noise insulation. Selectaglaze’s Security Range is licensed to ‘Secured by Design’, the “Police Preferred Specification” initiative.

Secondar glazing is also recommended by Heritage bodies including English Heritage and Historic Scotland for use in Listed buildings and those in conservation areas.

01/08/2014 - Supreme Energy Efficiency For County Hall The recent £22m remodelling and refurbishment of the 1930’s civic building and 1970’s office extension for Wiltshire’s County Hall in Trowbridge was undertaken to consolidate the majority of Wiltshire Council’s 95 offices into four hubs, reducing floor area by 50%, saving £5m in revenue per annum, creating 40% reduction in carbon emissions and providing new flexible ways of working.
