Surveys & Planning

Sign Specialists offer a full surveying service − we will attend site prior to the manufacture of signage and take exact and accurate dimensions to ensure that your sign fits perfectly first time. There will also be opportunity for early identification of access possibilities and whether there might be potential issues that might impact on sign installation that can be resolved well in advance of manufacture and installation

Design

Whether you are looking to rebrand a chain of shops or pubs, or are even looking for new signage design and a fresh look on things, we are able to be of service.Our specialist design team are on hand to assist in concept and feasibility and ensure that what you as the client want is achievable.They will take note of requirement, examine alternative options/concepts that may benefit the brand and liaise direct with you if necessary to educate and ensure that you understand fully the recommendations and way forward prior to any manufacture.

Project Management

Sign Specialists’ project management team are all highly experienced in the delivery of projects of various complexities from one off bespoke signage works to full roll out programmes and have worked for Sign Specialists over many years.

Manufacturing

Sign Specialists have a fully integrated on site 31,000 sq foot manufacturing and office facility in Redditch, Birmingham, that is able to produce signage and graphics ranging and deliver across a broad range of sectors throughout the UK and Europe.

Installation

Sign Specialists offer UK wide coverage for installation and have directly employed installation engineers as well as access to a large number of sub-contract engineers whose services can be called upon whether the project is in Penzance or Inverness.

Maintenance

Sign Specialists offer (as part of an overall signage supply package) as maintenance service which covers all aspects of signage upkeep which might involve a simple annual clean and/or re-lamping of illumination where necessary. If it is a client expectation that this forms part of any on-going relationship with us, we will examine likely sign maintenance requirement, put forward a recommendation and then integrate it within any overall programme of works.

Sign Specialists design, manufacture, install and maintain all types of signage. Established in 1947, we have built up an impressive portfolio of clients, working with many of the UK’s biggest names including Homebase, Argos, Jaguar, Premier Inn & Brewers Fayre.

We are a family owned company who for the past 3 generations have made it our mission to produce the most dynamic and cost effective signage solutions all while maintaining quality and reliability in our approach.

Sign Specialists are highly experienced in all types of signage requirements from one off bespoke sign projects through to the project management of complex roll out programs.

Sign Specialists serve a broad range of sectors throughout the UK across Europe.

We have a dedicated team of in-house specialist buyers, fitters, fabricators, designers, sign writers and project managers. Sign Specialists understand the individual needs of our customers and therefore have created four specialist project divisions. These are Automotive, Hotel & Leisure, Pubs & Restaurants and Retail. Each division is run by individuals who have the skills and experience to carry through each project successfully.

Manufacturing takes place at our 31,000 square foot manufacturing and office facility in Redditch, Birmingham. We are able to produce a wide range of signage types including built up letters, flex face signs, moulded letters and logos, fascia signs, timber based product inclusive of post and building signs and neon based signage.

We use various technology and techniques including paint & powder coating, large scale moulding, digital graphics, 3D routing facilities, timber construction and acrylic fabrication.
