Fume Extract Plant
To operate safely all Fume Cupboards need to be connected to a suitable Fume Extract system. The most common installations are as illustrated below. The correct fan and well-designed duct route are essential to
ensure a balanced installation.
- Full site survey carried out prior to installation
- Designed to comply with the latest British Standard
- Centrifugal type Fan
- Rigid PVC Tube and Bends heat welded at joints
- Discharge terminates in a high velocity outlet
- Support brackets are mild steel suitably painted
- Flexible PVC joint for final connection to fan

Using the benefits of Computer Aided Draughting Systems to design and advise on all aspects of your new or refurbished laboratory our experienced staff take the project through from quotation to completion with the help of suitably skilled and qualified site staff.

Furniture Systems- Based on one of four distinct construction systems our furniture is engineered to meet the specific needs of your school, college, university or business. The basic systems are; Pedestal, Cantilever, Modular Supported and ‘C’ Frame construction.
Fume Cupboards and Extraction- Properly designed fume extract systems are critical for many laboratories. Simplylabs can install solutions ranging from bench mounted point-of-work extract hoods, all types of fume cupboards for schools and industry, hoods over special equipment to the appropriate extract systems to service the entire laboratory.
Technical Specification - All our furniture is manufactured to exacting specifications using the highest grade materials that are fully detailed in the initial quotation.
