SK Machine Tools Ltd offers maintenance, repair, and customisation for a wide array of computer-controlled machines. These machines encompass a variety of brands, such as Hitachi Seiki, Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Tsugami, Haas, Cortini, Okuma, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Makino, Fadal, and more.

The control systems encompass Fanuc, Yasnac, Meldas, as well as proprietary systems developed by the manufacturer.
This task entails identifying issues in both AC and DC electrical circuits, upgrading control systems, conducting tests on proximity and limit switches, and the replacement and configuration of electrical boards and drives. Additionally, we diagnose and rectify problems with spindles, ballscrews, and slideways.

We are skilled in the use of precision testing equipment for machines, including tools like the Renishaw Ballbar and Laser Calibration.

Machine Tool Calibration
The Renishaw measurement system is a precise instrument. Even when the system is meticulously maintained, the wear of mechanical parts and the shift in electrical components can influence measurement accuracy, potentially leading to values that fall outside the necessary precision standards. Renishaw suggests, in alignment with the typical demands of quality assurance systems, that periodic recalibration of the Renishaw system components be conducted. This ensures confidence that the system can consistently provide the specified level of measurement accuracy.
