The SEM203P is our entry level Pt100 temperature transmitter. It converts the sensor output to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal.

The temperature range can be set by simulating a temperature at the low and high end of scale required, and pushing the button to output 4mA at the low end, and 20 mA at the high end. The advantage of this method is that you do not need to connect the product to a computer to carry out this function.

The HTR200 Series ‘smart’ transmitters are designed for use with RTD or Slidewire sensors. It is integrated into the MA style head making it ideal for applications where space is restricted as well as for temperature probes with short immersion lengths due to its light weight. It converts the sensor input to 4/20mA loop powered signal or a voltage signal programmable anywhere between 0 and 10Vdc

PC configuration allows the user to select RTD type, Range, Filter, units, linearization and Burnout direction, without requiring calibration equipment. Additionally, the user may read live process data when connected to the PC, this allows for sensor offset, and output alignment calibration, where the user can enter values to match the actual process and therefore reducing system errors.

The SEM1700 is a DIN rail mounted universal signal conditioner. It accepts RTD, Thermocouple, Voltage, Current and Potentiometer sensor inputs and provides the user with a programmable current or voltage output signal plus dual trip relays. Isolation is provided between input, outputs and supply. All temperature ranges are linear to temperature. Both input and output loop excitation is provided as well as a fully universal power supply.

Designed for ease of use, our latest USB interface is fitted for quick and easy configuration. Just connect a standard USB cable between the SEM1700 and your PC. Using our free configuration software, your PC will automatically upload the existing configuration data and guide you through any changes you wish to make. The SCH50 series is manufactured from cast aluminium finished in a blue epoxy paint, or stainless steel and is certified as an Ex d flameproof connection head. It has been designed to house our SEM200, 300 and TTR series temperature transmitters as well as ceramic connection blocks.

There is a display window option which allows the process value to be displayed when used with our DM700HM/XI loop powered indicator. All versions come with a flame proof collar and we can supply temperature probes specially designed to suit Ex d applications. Sealed to IP68, the SCH50 can be specified with base or side entries.
The SCH50 Series can be either IEC Ex or Atex approved, this to be specified along with side entry size at the time of ordering.

The SEM1015 is a (4 to 20) mA loop powered isolator that can be configured to accept voltages between -10 and 100V DC.

The voltage range can be specified at time of order, but if required the user may re-range the transmitter to a new range.

The isolator is housed inside a 12.5mm wide plastic enclosure, suitable for DIN Rail mounting. Screw terminals are provided for wire connections.

The enclosure provides side entry access to coarse offset and span adjusters and a range select switch.

The SEM1603i is a isolating current loop convertor. It accepts any input between (-10 to 25) mA, even inverted inputs, and provides the user with a standard two wire (4 to 20) mA output signal. Isolation is provided between input and output.

Typical uses include providing extra drive capability for an exisiting current loop and providing signal scaling and inversion. The input only needs 54mV from the loop.

Designed for ease of use, the SEM1603i is configured with our USB port powered configuration module. The module interfaces a PC USB port to the SEM1603, using the (4 to 20) mA loop to communicate. Using our free configuration software, you will be able to read the existing configuration data and perform any changes you wish to make to the configuration. To further help save time, the SEM1603 and module do not need to be wired to a power supply during the configuration process, both are powered by the USB interface on your PC.

The DM660 is a development of the DM640 battery powered indicator and provides a high accuracy digital readout from a Pt100 sensor.

The mounting of the instrument in the larger 100mm 'Dial Gauge' enclosure, enables 20mm high digits to be used providing good readability from 20 meters. Probe entry thread is M16 x 1.5mm.
The DM660 has an in-built Max / Min process temperature feature which is read by pressing the appropriate buttons on the front panel.
Style 2, 4 and 9 temperature probes are suitable for use with this product.

The DM600 series of battery powered indicators accepts either an RTD (DM640P) or a Thermocouple (DM640TC) input. Each device shows the temperature on a 4 digit LCD display.
The unit is microprocessor based. The sensor type is selected from a simple to use menu system which is navigated by the use of three push buttons located on the rear of the display. This feature enables the user to easily configure the device in the field without the use of any other equipment. The DM640P and DM640TC are sealed into a cap as pictured above. There are several mounting options including the SCH4 series of enclosures and a stainless steel option, the SCH15 which is now available in wall mount versions.

ATEX versions housed in the SCH4 enclosure are available for use in hazardous areas. Full details can be seen here.

Styles 1, 2, 4, 5 and 9 temperature probes are suitable for use with this product.

WTX700 - Wireless Temperature Transmitter

The WTX700 in head temperature transmitter is a new generation of wireless temperature measurement solutions from Status Instruments. It has been designed to accept most common temperature sensors as well as slidewire and mV signals. The measured process value is transmitted to the DIN rail mounted receiver WRX900 which can accept signals from up to 16 WTX700 transmitters.

A 3.6V battery is provided for the transmitter power supply and is fitted in a specially designed antenna housing which screws into the cable entry of our SCH11 (alloy) or SCH4 (ABS Plastic) connection heads.

The measured signal is transmitted on the ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band of 868.4MHz. This frequency is virtually insensitive to external interferences and allows transmission even in a harsh industrial environment. The open air range is 300m.

WRX900 - Wireless Temperature Receiver

The WRX900 receiver is used together with up to 16 WTX700 in head temperature transmitters. The product converts the measured values received into 4 isolated current or voltage signals or 2 current or voltage and 2 relay outputs as well as making them all available via a digital RS485 interface.

The product operates using the ISM (Industrial Scientific and Medical) band of 868.4MHz. This frequency is virtually insensitive to external interference and allows transmission even in harsh industrial environments. The antenna screws into the top of the DIN rail module but for use in cabinets or to gain the optimum signal, an optional 10m antenna extension lead with mounting bracket is available.

Programming is possible by PC using the configuration kit. However, it is also possible to programme the product using the push buttons following instructions on the LCD display. In normal use the LCD display shows channel number and process value.

SEM170 Series - Sub Sea Temperature Transmitter

For over twenty years Status Instruments have been supplying the oil industry with our own design of Sub Sea Temperature Transmitter. It has been designed for long term use (20 years +) in sub-sea locations all over the world. Accurate process measurement can be made directly by mounting on the sub-sea tree. This transmitter provides the user with a two wire 4 to 20 mA output, proportional to the temperature change at the sensor.

The transmitter is housed in 316 Stainless Steel and is compatible with all connectors and cable attachments such as the Tronic or Siemens type. The transmitter assembly is hyperbaric tested to 224 bar for 30 minutes.

The Thermowell, is designed to suit the needs of the end user and is manufactured from one piece forgings in materials such as Duplex F51, Super Duplex F55 UNS32760, Alloy 625 and Zeron 100. Subsea thermowells are pressure tested to 15000psi and can operate at depths of 2275 metres below sea level.

Full documentation is supplied to include, Dye Penetrant and Radiography Tests, X-Rays, Hardness Test, PMI test, Material Certificates, Pressure Test Certificates and Calibration Certificates. The transmitter is witness tested as part of a Factory Acceptance Test before being sent to the end user.
