The Chief Constable Chris Sims attended Steelhouse Lane on Monday 27/09/10 to officially open the custody block, he gave a speech with the Police Authority also giving a speech and had a tour of the custody facility, they were both impressed with the improvements made and the quality of the works and efforts various people have made to improve the facility.
