A CalBench package designed to provide users with a turnkey solution to calibrate instruments and devices used across industries. It offers a selection of features and functions to enable automated calibration using EasyCal software on the 7051Plus multifunction calibrator and control centre module.

Calibration Capabilities

CalBench can be fitted with a wide range of modules for various applications. Modules include the comprehensive 7051 multifunction calibrator and control centre, power supplies, pressure and process modules. Also available are digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and RF modules.

Modules are positioned in the consoles to enable the best possible workflow on the bench.

Bench Fittngs

A number of fittings can be added to each bench. Standard items include under worktop drawers and cabinets, and tool hooks/holders for the perforated back panel. Variations of fittings are available upon request.

High Performance Calibration
A precision multi-product calibrator designed to rapidly calibrate a wide range of test & measurement instruments. With over 11 standard functions the 5025C can accurately test and verify traditional and new test equipment.

The 5025C multifunction calibrator is fitted with AC/DC voltage to 1050V, AC/DC current to 22A, digital frequency to 10MHz, decade resistance to 1GΩ, simulated variable resistance from 10Ω to 40kΩ, conductance, capacitance, thermocouple and PT100 simulation.

An optional enhanced performance pack enables advanced calibration for up to 6.5 digit multimeters. It provides full range variable resistance to 120MΩ, extended temperature functions, extended capacitance, inductance, additional precision high DCV ranges and increased ACV frequency bandwidth.

External adaptors are available for clamp meter calibration (up to 1100A) and optical tachometer calibration. Also available is a power amplifier which increases the 5025C’s AC/DC voltage output drive capabilities to 100mA.

Calibration at an Affordable Price
A precision multi-product calibrator designed for wide calibration workload coverage at an affordable cost. Accurately test and verify both traditional and new test equipment with a calibrator that meets both technical and budget requirements.

The 5025E is fitted with AC/DC voltage to 1050V, AC/DC current to 22A, digital frequency to 10MHz, decade resistance to 1GΩ, simulated variable resistance from 40Ω to 40kΩ, conductance, capacitance, thermocouple and PT100 simulation.

An optional enhanced performance pack increases the specification of certain functions for wider calibration coverage. It provides full range variable resistance to 120MΩ, extended temperature functions, extended capacitance, and increased ACV frequency bandwidth.

A high performance portable multifunction calibrator with voltage, current, and resistance ranges. The 1017 combines precision with simple operation, making it suitable for use in the workshop or field. Constructed in a compact and durable plastic case with a tilt stand/carry handle it takes up minimal bench space and is easily transportable.

Five DC voltage ranges from 10mV to 100V full scale are available, each with a 6-digit (1ppm) resolution. The DC current range is 100mA full scale with a 100nA (1ppm) resolution.

The 1017 can be powered from mains supply or by the internal rechargeable battery pack. Battery operation enables good performance where earth loop and noise pick-up occurs. When the calibrator is plugged into the mains supply the internal batteries will automatically start to recharge.

Stability vs Temperature and Time
Outstanding performance is achieved by the use of special computer selected reference diodes and the latest in resistor technology. The special low-thermal emf terminals reduce errors when working with microvolt signals.

Digital Deviation Control
Allows the output to be increased/decreased in % terms from 0 to +/-0.999%. This provides a direct read-out of error and simplifies the recording results for calibration certificates. It enables the user to immediately see if the unit under test is within specification.

Applications
The 1017 is suitable for calibrating and simulating a wide range of instruments including thermocouples, transducers, 4-20mA and 0-10V transmitters, and platinum resistance thermometers.

As part of the Time Electronics multifunction calibrators range the 1017 is designed for accuracy and reliability, whilst maintaining ease of use.
It is a versatile calibration instrument that provides a high performance solution to voltage, current and resistance applications.

The 5011 is a versatile, high accuracy calibrator that can be used in a wide range of applications across various industries. Primarily used as a programmable resistance / RTD source, the 5011 provides precision resistance with a best accuracy of 0.01% and 1mΩ resolution (50Ω to 1kΩ).

Internal options for increased capabilities can be fitted as per customer requirement. These include DC voltage and thermocouple simulation, DC current, and frequency. The 5011 can be used as a laboratory grade resistance and temperature calibrator, or incorporated into an automated test system for dedicated signal injections.

Simple Operation and Clear Visual Display
Front panel operation allows the user to quickly set the function and output required. Using the jog / shuttle dial deviation the user can finely adjust the output value as a percentage (+/- 9.99%).

As standard the 5011 uses a SCPI command structure for programming. It also supports the Time Electronics 9811/19/20 command set making it an ideal replacement for these legacy models.

Flexible Options
A range of internally fitted options are available for the 5011, providing added functionality and features. The DCV / Thermocouple option provides a DC voltage source (+/- 20V) and simulates thermocouple types K, J, T, R, S, N, E and B.

Connect the 5011 to a PC/Laptop (via RS-232, GPIB, or USB) installed with EasyCal software and automate the calibration process. This provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results. Easily produce calibration certificates and reports to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and other international quality standards.

High Accuracy Programmable DC/AC Source
The 5018 is a versatile instrument that covers a wide range of applications. It can be configured as a simple benchtop DC voltage source or advanced AC/DC voltage and current calibrator controlled via PC or laptop, performing any number of tasks as part of a complex ATE test rig.

Ramping Feature
The 5018 includes an internal ramping feature. A ramp rate per range for each function can be set via a PC. The option to ramp the output can be turned on or off via the front panel.

Simple Operation and Clear Visual Display
Simple front panel operation allows the user to quickly set the function and output required. Using the jog / shuttle dial deviation the user can finely adjust the output value as a percentage (+/- 99.99%). All this information is shown on a clear, easy to read LED display.

GPIB, RS-232, and USB Interfaces
These interfaces allow the 5018 to be connected to a PC and controlled by an external program such as Time Electronics’ EasyCal calibration software. The 5018 uses a SCPI command structure for programming. This makes writing control programs in Visual Basic, C and Labview a simple task.

EasyCal has the ability to control a wide range of programmable instruments and comprehensive ATE systems can be configured to control a variety of applications. It has full read back capability and therefore can perform closed loop testing.

Quick and Easy Oscilloscope Calibration to 600MHz
The 5045 is a versatile, high accuracy calibrator capable of calibrating digital and analogue oscilloscopes, timer/counters, and frequency meters.
It provides a wide range of outputs for amplitude, frequency, period and bandwidth.

Accurate frequencies are generated from a temperature controlled quartz crystal oscillator. Alternatively a 10MHz reference input in can be used. Timing accuracy of 0.1ppm is suitable for most oscilloscopes and timer counters.

Virtual Front Panel Software
The 5045 is supplied as standard with Time Electronics’ windows based ‘Virtual Front Panel’ interface.

2.2GHz Levelled Sine-Wave Option
For precise bandwidth determination and frequency response analysis the 2.2GHz option is available.

Current Probe Calibration
For calibration of oscilloscope current probes an external adaptor is available. This converts the 5045’s amplitude output to current and covers the range 0.1mA to 100mA pk-pk, 0.2% accuracy, DC or 1kHz.

Rubidium frequency reference
Enhanced timing performance is available by specifying the rubidium high stability frequency reference option (9762).

EasyCal Software - Manage, Automate and Optimise the Calibration Process
To automate the oscilloscope calibration process the 5045 can be controlled using Time Electronics’ EasyCal calibration software. This provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results.

Calibrator / DMM / Touch Screen PC
The 5051Plus combines a precision multifunction calibrator, 6½ digit multimeter, and industrial touch screen PC. Offering high performance calibration and maximum functionality, it provides the foundation for an efficient calibration program.

Calibrator
The standard unit is fitted with AC/DC voltage to 1050V, AC/DC current to 22A, variable resistance to 120MΩ, decade resistance to 1GΩ, capacitance and inductance, conductance, thermocouple simulation and oscilloscope calibration.

Digital Multimeter
The internal 6½ digit multimeter measures DC voltages to 1000V, AC voltages to 750V, resistance to 100MΩ, and frequency to 300kHz.
Operation can be performed using the manual control program or EasyCal software.

Touch Screen PC
The 5051+ features an integral control centre that is a PC with a 64 bit dual core processor, running Windows 10. The calibrator and DMM control programs allows the wide range of functions to be easily selected using mouse, keyboard, or touch screen.

Multi Instrument Calibration
The 5051Plus can calibrate multimeters, frequency meters, ohm meters, AC/DC millivoltmeters, decade boxes, thermocouple indicators and sensors, clamp meters, tacho meters, oscilloscopes, timer counters, RTDs and much more.

EasyCal Software - Manage, Automate and Optimise the Calibration Process
The 5051Plus comes pre-loaded with Time Electronics’ EasyCal software. Automate the calibration process and increase speed of calibration and consistency of results. Easily produce calibration certificates and reports to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and other international quality standards.

The 7050 multifunction process calibrator combines the essential functions of measurement and simulation of volts, millivolts, milliamps, and ohms with the direct readout simulation of thermocouples and RTD’s in °C or °F units.The instrument is microprocessor based and housed in a rugged case designed for use in the field. Input and Output functions are displayed simultaneously and the switch controls allow for easy and precise operation.

Five calibration points are instantaneously accessible through a preset percentage selector and all functions may be generated in a fully programmable ramp format.In addition to the standard calibration facilities the instrument may be used as a signal converter. Any electronic input signal can be converted and output as a proportional signal of 4-20mA, 0-5V or sq. root 4-20mA.

The 7050 is highly adaptable, IPT 68 and ITS 90 curves are accommodated and non-standard thermocouples and RTD’s may be programmed on request.
