Diesel Transfer

A range of electric pumps and accessories for the pumping of red, white and bio diesel only. The surface pumps are designed for use out of the diesel liquid, require inlet and outlet pipe, and have a by-pass valve to enable operation with a trigger nozzle. The submersible pumps are designed to be fully submerged and these are DC (direct current) for use with batteries.

Environmental Protection

The Environment Agency (EA) states that site water must not be discharged off construction sites without control as this water can kill aquatic life and damage river beds and banks.

Engine Pumps

Engine water pumps are powered by petrol or diesel. Engine driven pumps are designed to be used out of water and must not be used inside buildings or partially enclosed areas. Pump end options are either centrifugal or diaphragm. Both require inlet and outlet pipe. A centrifugal engine water pump requires priming initially to self-prime and should not run without water. A diaphragm engine driven water pump does not need priming and it can run dry.

Hand Pumps

These water pumps are designed to be used out of a liquid. Combining human power and mechanical advantage to move liquids, the range offered has inlet and outlets designs that are fixed or flexible. The range covers applications that are portable, temporary or permanent.

Hoses

We have vast stocks of high quality water hose in diameters from 12mm (½”) to 150mm (6”), which can be purchased in cut lengths or in full length coils. Our pipe fittings range includes all types of hose connectors, nipples, sockets, bushes, elbows, tees, valves, strainers and hose clips…many available in plastic or metal…from 12mm (½”) upwards!

Submersible Pumps

Submersible water pumps are designed to be used fully submerged under water. They are simple to use and reliable in operation because only a discharge pipe is required and priming is unnecessary. All our submersibles are electric, with perfectly sealed motors close coupled to the pumping chamber to ensure safe operation when pumping fluids to the surface.

Surface Pumps

These water pumps are designed to be used out of water. All pumps in this category are electric. They require inlet and outlet pipe and require priming initially.
