UZIN Turbolight® System & Lightweight Screeds
The UZIN Turbolight®-System combines mutually compatible materials that rapidly create lightweight concrete screeds and floors. The unique combination UZIN SC 914 Turbo, UZIN RR 201 and UZIN NC 157 allows lightweight floors to be created even on problematic substrates. The patented system is easy to install, free from deformation and is low tension. It also has a low specific density and is highly heat insulating. It can be installed using common installation techniques and has accelerated hardening and drying properties which makes it ideal for construction sites with tight schedules. With the minimum of a 10 dB reduction, the UZIN Turbolight®-System can provide remarkable sound insulation which is important in the renovation of old buildings. The system is water tolerant and therefore suitable for damp rooms. The UZIN Turbolight® surface is suitable for the direct installation of all types of floor coverings including, wooden floors, tiles and natural stone. These can all be installed using standard methods and adhesives.
Rapid Cement Screeds
A UZIN rapid cement can help create screeds and subfloors regardless of climate conditions and thickness to ensure tight deadlines can be achieved. The UZIN cement binders retains the water when curing so the screeds are very fast drying. Deformation, cracks and screed shrinkage are also avoided.
Self Levelling Screeds
A 'self levelling screed' is a generic term given to a group of products which are used to create smooth floors prior to the installation of the floor covering. They are also known as thin screeds, flow screeds, liquid screeds, pumped screeds, deep bases or deep fills. They flow like liquid across substrates similar to ‘self levelling compounds’ but because they contain bigger aggregates they can be applied in higher depths, although the finish is not as smooth. In fact 'self levelling screeds' or ‘self levelling compounds’ do not naturally 'self level' but instead 'self smooth'. Over a large area for example the variance from one corner to another could be different but may not be apparent to the naked eye. They can be used to create 'level' floors through the use of a laser and level pins but it is not a wide spread practice. Self levelling screeds are usually used in flooring constructions to make up deficits in height or ensure the correct floor strength and load capacitiy.

Concrete Floor Sealer & Industrial Tops
UZIN concrete floor sealer in conjunction with UZIN industrial tops produce hard wearing, heavy duty floor finishes ideal for use in commercial and industrial environments. They are very easy to use, high strength and low stress for the best results. UZIN SC 1800 concrete sealer increases the resistance of concrete floors against water, road salts, fuels and lubricants.
Screed Additives
To save water and make the drying time of sand and cement screeds quicker or stronger screed additives can help. UZIN provides such additives for all cementitious screeds that are bonded, on a thermal layer, on an insulating layer or connected to underfloor heating. They can also be used with all common screed pumping systems.

Proper substrate preparation is the basis of a secure floor with the ability to withstand stress. UZIN has the right primer for even the most difficult substrates. Laying Vinyl Flooring & Rubber Flooring
Proper substrate preparation is critical when installing resilient floor coverings. Laying vinyl flooring is especially popular in areas with strong hygiene requirements. UZIN offers different products and adhesives for installing vinyl and rubber floor coverings, for normal and heavy duty requirements.
Rubber floors need wet-bed adhesives to provide a secure bond and to restrict any movement whilst the adhesive dries. Specialist adhesives such as UZIN KE 66 which is fibre-reinforced provides rubber the extra strength and support it needs. Homogenous and heterogeneous vinyl on the other hand are a little more forgiving and don’t necessarily need a quick initial bond. Therefore multi-purpose adhesives like UZIN KE 2428 provide good overall performance. Pressure sensitive adhesives are also ideal for installing vinyl floor coverings as they are more tolerant of plasticisers (as long as the subfloor preparation is correct such as 3 mm depth of smoothing compounds). They can also be left to partially dry before the vinyl is installed and allow for natural movement of the vinyl. UZIN KE 2000 S can also be used as wet-bed adhesives so can also be used for rubber depending on the thickness. UZIN KR 430 should be used when installing vinyl or rubber floors in heavy duty or wet areas. UZIN KE 68 is a innovative single component, heavy duty adhesives which is also tolerant to moisture which could penetrate joints, depending on the area being installed such as shop entrances.
