About us
Starting with a bank loan, an old van, a set of traceable weights, a PC and Janet’s dining room table was all it took to form the company. That first year was a bit of a hard slog but what we lacked in finance we made up for with dedication and an unshakeable belief in our eventual success.

In June 2018, Janet retired from Weighing Scales. There was no one better than our leading engineer, Daniel Wilmore, to take over from Janet’s reins and help with the running of the business, so Dan came on board.
Weighing Scales Ltd continued to service customers with key worker status during the Covid-19 pandemic and went on to record our most lucrative year of growth since 2006!
We give exemplary service to hundreds of clients in the UK and retain 99% of our contract client year on year, all due to our excellent service. We have expanded our services to include temperature and humidity testing and we look forward to a prosperous tomorrow. We welcome you to join us in our story.
