West Special Fasteners Limited has grown into one of the most respected hot forgers and producers of high-integrity fasteners in the UK.
Our facilities include Hot forging presses, CNC Lathes, VMC’s, Capstan Lathes, Sliding Head CNC and Bandsaws. Our team of highly-experienced machinists and operators ensure fasteners are produced to the highest levels every day of the week.
Fasteners can be manufactured to customer drawings, relevant British (BS), American (ASME and ANSI), European (DIN and UNI) or international (ISO) standards.
Our hot forged fasteners range from 1/4" to 2” imperial and M5 to M52 metric. CNC and manual machined fasteners range from 3/16” to 4” imperial and M3 to M100 metric. However, please ask about sizes outside these ranges and we may still be able to help.
Testing is carried out daily on our fasteners, for the most demanding of customers, to the most stringent of end user specifications. We pride ourselves on heat treating and testing our fasteners correctly when required, as this is imperative when used in critical applications. With the knowledge and experience of our staff, we ensure nothing is missed within a material/fastener standard or specification.
We can offer special fasteners in a wide range of exotic alloys and stainless steels, including:
West Special Fasteners were awarded approval by ExxonMobil in 2015. The approval followed over a year of product testing, inspection, witnessing, documentation and system reviews. The approval is for the Hot Forging of Super Duplex bolting and ExxonMobil have only approved a few companies in the world to carry out this work.

Our hot forged fasteners range from 1/4" to 2” imperial and M5 to M52 metric. CNC and manual machined fasteners range from 3/16” to 4” imperial and M3 to M100 metric. However, please ask about sizes outside these ranges and we may still be able to help.
Testing is carried out daily on our fasteners, for the most demanding of customers, to the most stringent of end user specifications. We pride ourselves on heat treating and testing our fasteners correctly when required, as this is imperative when used in critical applications. With the knowledge and experience of our staff, we ensure nothing is missed within a material/fastener standard or specification.

West Special Fasteners were awarded approval by ExxonMobil in 2015. The approval followed over a year of product testing, inspection, witnessing, documentation and system reviews. The approval is for the Hot Forging of Super Duplex bolting and ExxonMobil have only approved a few companies in the world to carry out this work.
