Bespoke Products
Willowbridge Labels has built a strong trade reputation for producing bespoke labels and specialist products. We currently supply tags and printed foil laminate for teabags, a variety of ticket products and we have recently commissioned a modification to one of our presses to produce wet peel labels.
Wet peel labels are a two layer label which gives the customer three pages of information rather than just a single page. This arrangement offers our customers the scope to fit a lot more information on a small label than was previously possible!
For added branding or information content potential, we can also offer single colour print on the adhesive side of our bespoke labels. This is in addition to also printing on the front face of the label as well as the label backing paper itself! Ask for more details or to see some examples.

Fanfold Labels
Fanfold labels were our original entry into the label world, when the business started life overprinting sprocket fed computer labels.
This format of label was widely used for dot matrix printers but can also be used without sprockets (non sprocket fed) in industrial thermal printers.
Non-Sprocket fed label production actually reduces the need for cores and also allows us to pack more labels per box. A major benefit of this method of production is that it eliminates some of the packaging materials, saves cost, reduces transportation weight and significantly reduces waste.

Roll Labels
Now one of the most popular label formats requested by customers across many industries, we supply roll labels for many different uses from plain labels that our customers print on their own desktop thermal printers to full colour labels machine applied for point of sale items.
The selection of face materials and adhesives used for roll labels is vast and we will always work with the customer to find a material to suit their specific application, however niche!
Our label presses can convert material into plain labels or print up to six colours in one operation with a selection of finishes from ‘UV Varnish’, ‘Laminated’ or ‘Hot foil’, and with a selection of 1400 cutters in our cutter library we can normally save the customer tooling costs too.

Willowbridge Labels supply sheet labels in 2 main size of sheet, A4 (210mm x 297mm) or A5 (210mm x 148mm) but we can also supply sheets in special size depending on customer requirements.
We can offer sheet labels including materials that are suitable for Laser and Inkjet printers. All are specially selected for their exceptional ‘layflat properties’ which helps with feeding sheets of labels through most printers, without risk of them getting stuck or gumming the printer feeding wheels.
Material choice is not as varied as with roll labels. This is due to the heat the sheets are subjected to through laser printers.

We have seen a growing demand for stickers of all descriptions from childrens favourite characters to sale stickers for large stores.
These stickers can be die cut to intricate shapes or supplied as circles, ovals, rectangles or squares. Available on rolls, sheets or individual labels.
Taking the sticker theme one step further we now produce window stickers for cars and shops on static cling material or a self adhesive material depending on requirements, these can be printed conventionally in spot colours or full colour or for small quantities digitally.

Waterproof Labels
Waterproof labels and stickers from Willowbridge Labels are superior quality labels, designed from the outset to perform very well in any wet conditions. This means they will not deteriorate or fall off.
They are BS5609 standard compliant waterproof labels, and are typically used for labelling hazardous chemicals, barcodes, anything requiring International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) certification; and are designed to remain in place and readable after 3 months (continuous!) immersion in sea water.

Stock Management
Due to our purpose built, state of the art factory, we have the facility to hold stock for our clients, for a small monthly fee. This allows you to ensure you never run out of your required labels and, we would automatically put a job in hand to replenish any stock drawn.
Serialisation & Traceability
Most products need to be traceable throughout the entire supply chain − whichever industry you are in. This is usually by a product code or unique serial number.
We have all of the necessary equipment to print QR codes and barcodes on your labels using either sequential or variable data. We can also offer secondary printing which is ideal for use by dates.

Special Adhesives
Because we know that each one of our clients products are as different as they are, we know that the conditions their products are stored also vary.
Because of this, the adhesives we use on our labels also need to be adaptable. For instance, the most common adhesive used within the frozen food sector is a permanent, deep freeze adhesive. This is to ensure the labels remains attached to the packaging even at sub-zero temperatures.

Coatings
There are several scenarios where a label would need an additional coating.
One of the most common is a laminate which not only creates the ultimate protection against marking and scuffing but also makes the label waterproof. We can coat your labels with either a matt clear laminate or a gloss clear laminate, this then enables you to put your label on various products with the guarantee that the information being held on the label will not disappear because our waterproof labels are BS5609 standard compliant and would remain on the product for up to 3 months of continuous immersion in water.

Holographic & Hotfoil

Secondary Printing
Our ability to offer secondary printing is through the use of thermal transfer ribbon printing and enables us run the primary printed label back through a second run of printing. We can also use variable data on a second pass therefore allowing you to run your unique codes or serial numbers to a pre-printed label.
As well as this, we can also supply the thermal transfer ribbons for your own printer, allowing you to have your main label printed with any standard, non-variable data, such as branding, addresses, and then you can run your own labels through your printer to print your own variable data − such as use by dates or weights.

Delivery
All of the jobs we produce come included with delivery to one destination. We have access to nationwide couriers who offer anything from 3 working days, next day and same day delivery. We can sort deliveries of anything from 10 pallets to one box.
We also understand the ‘booking in’ process and can ensure any procedures you may have for the receiving of goods are adhered to.
In addition to this, our production facilities proximity to the A14 means we can easily access all major routes within the UK.
