We are writing to tell you how thrilled we are with our Garden Room. Not only is it a fabulous structure that has enhanced the rear of our property, it has exceeded our expectations, in the sense that that we really feel we are in the “in the garden…” Juliet, our Project Manager, was always on the case, leading from the front and we felt connected with our emotional attachment to the build. If you ever need to have a reference site visit for a turnkey solution in the Surrey/Hampshire borders, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I am thrilled with the garden room. From the first meeting of the designer to all the people in the office to the surveyor and project manager I have been amazed, impressed and thrilled with the quality of workmanship, advice, assistance and professionalism of all involved. The guys who installed my harden room battled the worst of the weather we had, after a summer of wonderful, relentless sun. Still they continued whilst it poured with rain, nearly every day. I really cannot praise them enough!
The quality and speed of your work is impressive, the operational communication and project management is also superb and the finished end product is extremely high end.

I am delighted with the design and finish of our new conservatory.In particular, the oak timber work, fenestration and doors have been beautifully made by David Salisbury and everyone involved in the design and build process has been a pleasure to work with.
David Salisbury recently completed the installation of a new conservatory, with an area of approximately 20 square metres. From inception to completion, the service provided was excellent and the whole job was carried out in a very professional manner.We are delighted with the end result which blends in very well with the house.

Very pleased with the workmanship of our Oak room. The attention to detail from the carpenter fitting the structure was fantastic. The time and patience were very much appreciated by us - down to cutting the oak to fit against out existing inside wall. The attitude and behaviours of all tradesmen on our project were brilliant - all members of the family feeling comfortable in their prescence.I would definitely recommend David Salisbury as a company. All members of the team have been extremely helpful and supportive with no request ever too difficult for them to accommodate.

From our initial meeting to the final sign off a few months later, we were delighted not only with the end result of our beautiful orangery but also how the team at David Salisbury made the whole journey a real joy. Seeing our early discussions and ideas come to life from sketches and drawings to now enjoying many a dinner party and special family times in our orangery which has truly transformed our home and the way we live each day. So much more natural light has been brought into the space even on the darkest of days and the design and detail has been brought up by almost everyone that enters the room, they are quite literally taken aback by the transformation it has created to what was a very dark and cold part of the home. We can only praise the David Salisbury team for all their help and guidance and also holding our hands through a very seamless and enjoyable experience. An orangery is quite simply a must for the house!
Well here we are, work started in August on our new David Salisbury Orangery and I cannot praise the builders enough, some working direct from David Salisbury, some from a building firm recommended by them, every single one of the guys who have worked on the orangery have been absolutely wonderful, they arrive around 7:30-8:00 and work hard, all day, until around 5pm they drink the teas/coffess I make them on the go, take a short lunch break and then back at it, their work is first class. The walls of the orangery are made of brick and Bodmin stone and it is so well done, I can't stop looking at it, the timber part of it is extremely good quality, I have been kept informed of every step and have had several visits from the project manager and the head of the building firm, the whole thing has been managed so well, I haven't had a moments worry about anything. I would say if you want a trouble free, beautiful structure, conservatory, orangery or timber extension building then David Salisbury should be your first and only call, it's not inexpensive, but honestly, in this instance you really do get what you pay for. We are very happy customers.
My wife and myself recently had a David Salisbury Orangery built and would like to congratulate you on your ‘team’ responsible for the project and it’s construction. A senior project manager oversaw the build in a very professional, friendly and competent manner, giving my wife and I complete confidence that our orangery would be a success. He kept us informed of progress throughout and was always available to answer any questions we may have had. It was a pleasure to have the person I dealt with in our home, whenever he came to inspect on-going progress.. Furthermore, G+S Building Service, who were responsible for the construction of our orangery, were similarly very professional and competent, ensuring that the build went smoothly and without problems. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always willing to accommodate. They made for a very efficient ‘team’, ensuring that we now have a stunning orangery that will give us great pleasure in years to come. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them and your company to our friends and contacts.

He took the time to explore and suggest various designs and came up with the most elegant Orangery which looks as if it belongs to the house. We have just been involved with a local project for a private client, constructing the base and brickwork for a new Garden Room which was installed last week, the first David Salisbury project we have been involved with and I have to say it was a pleasure, superb product of the highest quality!
In our old house, David Salisbury built our superb conservatory - translating our ideas and design through to fruition- much to our delight and the envy of our friends. After 16 years of enjoyment we moved down to Sussex. The old house we bought had a sorry excuse for a front door porch which presented at the wrong angle from the drive. Knowing what we wanted to achieve but with few ideas we contacted David Salisbury again and their designer listened to us and spent time looking at the house and getting the feel of it.His drawings and thoughts were right on the money and when we received the computerised pictures we were so excited at the difference the new porch made to the house - like a conservatory facing down the drive and presenting the double front doors. The black and white woodwork matches in with the house windows and the proportions are first-class. It has been much admired by many in the village who have been relieved that the house was being renovated so beautifully. The porch is the icing on the cake, so light and spacious and very welcoming. David Salisbury have done us proud for the second time and we could not be happier.

Have a David Salisbury Conservatory love it. Best room in house. Built 3 years ago now and use it nearly every day. Can still remember it being done no fuss and David Salisbury were excellent. If we move definitely have another one.
We saw an advert for David Salisbury in House and Garden magazine and contacted them as their designs seemed to be just what we were looking for. We are only part way down the road to having the timber extension they are building for us but I have to say that we have been so impressed by the professional approach of everyone involved, particularly Stephen the designer and Paul the surveyor, my dealings with both of them have reassured me that we have made the right choice, the design is wonderful, watch this space in early autumn for pics of the finished product.
…the quality of the wood, materials and the two workmen / craftsmen very quickly made us realise that this was going to be a very high quality construction and a great addition to our property. The two craftsmen who built it became good, trusted friends and really showed that they cared about getting it perfect for us. They were outstanding and wish we had met them earlier…the finished product is superb and best seen in real life rather than a few words.
Having engaged David Salisbury, I have found them to be totally reliable in every way. Our project was a very challenging complete refurbishment and included new windows doors and an orangery - we worked with Eddie Spillane from initial design stages to completion. Eddie’s manner / approach and after sales service throughout has been outstanding. I have just sold my home and will be contacting Eddie once I settle into my new property to discuss designs for our next project.
We have enjoyed our beautiful orangery for 6 months now and use it more than our sitting room. From design to construction we had every confidence in the David Salisbury team. They were extremely thorough, keeping us informed every step of the way and totally professional in all their dealings with us. Particular mention must go to our project manager (D.H), his knowledge and expertise were second to none and he was always cheerful and pleasant. We particulary like the quality, workmanship and attention to detail which has been admired by visitors - the entertaining space has been enhanced by the beautiful looking building. We have a wood burner in the orangery so it is used all the time unlike the previous conservatory which was used only in warm weather. Would definetely recommend David Salisbury.

As we near completion of the Oak Orangery at Turnpike Cottage we would like to take this opportunity to commend the workmanship, project management and leadership skills of Pete Smith. We have used a number of building contractors since moving to Turnpike Cottage some 16 years ago and Pete and his team are by far the most professional team of builders and craftsmen we have had working for us. Pete was recommended to us by Neil Sheilds and our initial thoughts were to employ a local builder, but decided that employing a contractor whom David Salisbury were used to working with was a better option. This was most definitely the right decision! Pete Smith and his team worked with harmony and respect for each other's ability, their workmanship and work rate is always excellent, they are consistently on time and left the workplace in an immaculate state at the end of the day. Should the opportunity arise we will most certainly use Pete Smith again. We would also like to recommend Tony Channon Jones. Tony is a particularly skilful and hard working carpenter without whom the raw oak material could not have been turned into the Orangery we will be able to enjoy for many years to come.
