Dreadful serviceWe called HE Services to ask if they would deliver a 50 tonne crawler crane for us, they said they could and we agreed a price.They turned up 2 hours late, with an unsuitable trailer and without adequate chains to secure the machine. In short HE Services failed miserably to offer the service we had agreed on.This cost me £200 in labour for my staff and an expert crane driver to be there to load it.They agreed that they had let us down, but when I asked for my costs to be reimbursed they refused and said that they would only offer me a credit on account. I explained that this was unreasonable as we do not move plant generally and would obviously not use them again if we were to, so I just asked that my costs were covered.They flat refused, so we are left out of pocket.This is a dreadful way for a company to behave.Date of experience: 01 November 2023

The girl that helped us on the phone was very friendly and got us through the process of hiring a 1.5ton excavator for the day. When it arrived it looked brand new and the operator they sent got the job done quicker than expected. I would recommend these guys any day.

After dealing with H.E over the last week, I can fully compliment the wonderful and professional communication from the hire girls, There wasn’t a single update I was not copied in on and also our SM wishes to thank the operator sent for a great job and refreshing work ethic.
