Roof Safety Handrails & Guardrails

Edge Protection that collapses completely flat and out of sight when not in use − perfect for listed and historic buildings due to its folding mechanism.
Easy to assemble, Heightsafe’s Collapsible and Folding Guardrails are collapsible when not in use.

This style of guardrail complies with the requirements of listed and historic buildings by folding completely flat and out of sight. The perfect solution for visually sensitive buildings.The technology is in the ultra-strong hinged bracket, which allows the system to easily fold down on itself, featuring an integral hinge and removable stainless-steel lynch pin.

Erected in a maximum of 10m sections, easily raised and lowered by two people. Being a completely freestanding system, there is no need to penetrate your roof covering for this collective fall prevention measure.

Fixed Parapet Handrails & Guardrails for Fixed Edge Protection

Due to the system permanently fixing to parapets, this form of Edge Protection delivers 24/7 protection for personnel Working at Height.

Heightsafe’s only permanent guardrail and handrail delivers fixed protection 24/7 and prevents falls from height. Parapet Walls should be no less than 1100mm high and if any lower, can present a danger to anyone working on your roof.

The HSE’s Working on Roofs (INDG 284) covers this specific area and requires the first line of defence to be a collective measure i.e. Guardrail.

Flat Roof Membrane Anchor Systems

Fall Protection systems specially designed for flat roof membrane structures where Work at Height is required.

Heightsafe’s Fall Arrest Anchor Systems are specially designed for flat roof membrane structures, using mechanical fixings through the insulation down to the metal or ply deck. This anchor system can be installed at the time of the initial roof construction, or retro-fitted to established structures.

Components are fitted with sealants to ensure waterproofing for both the system and the membrane beneath it.

Steel Roof Safety Lines

Specially designed Fall Protection systems for composite roof types with a maximum pitch of 15°.

Heightsafe’s Steel Roof Safety Line systems are designed for composite roof types with a maximum angle of 15° and crown centre of 300mm to 500mm.

The system is fitted with a sealant ring that provides waterproofing for both the system and the membrane beneath it.

Standing Seam Roof Anchors

Expertly designed Fall Protection systems ensure personnel are protected whilst Working at Height on standing seam roof structures.

Standing seam applications are becoming more and more common in the industrial and commercial sectors, and it can often be a challenge trying to find an appropriate standing seam Roof Anchor. Heightsafe’s Standing Seam Roof Anchors use rivets to secure the system into place, meaning it can be removed from your metal roofing if required.

The system is also fitted with specially designed sealant rings that waterproof both the system and the membrane beneath it.

Overhead Fall Arrest Track

Anchorage rail solutions protect personnel whilst Working at Height, perfect for overhead, horizontal and vertical configurations.

Heightsafe’s fall arrest tracks not only offer users overhead fall protection but are also adaptable to suit further orientations to suit requirements. The systems consist of a permanently installed rigid anchorage rail and free running anchorage connectors, all housed within an enclosed rail.
