Magnetic Flow Meters

Magnetic Flow Meters

A magnetic flow meter is a volumetric instrument that doesn't require moving parts to function. A magnetic flow meter is ideal for conductive or water based applications, such as wastewater mediums in water treatment plants. Because magnetic flow meters have no moving parts, they are also ideal for scenarios where low maintenance is required (such as hard to reach areas). This also makes them cost effective to run with minimal maintenance required.

Magnetic flow meters will generally not work with distilled water, fuels such as oil, and the majority of non-water based media.
Coriolis Mass Flow Meters

Coriolis Mass Flow Meters

Coriolis Mass flow meters directly and continuously measure mass flow (as opposed to measuring volumetric flow), a fluid parameter that is not temperature dependent. Therefore, the Coriolis flow meter does not require a correction for changes in fluid variables such as temperature, pressure, viscosity and density. Coriolis Mass flow meters are ideal for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, power generation, water & wastewater and biochemical industries.

iCenta Controls have a great selection of Coriolis Mass Flow Meters from one of the leading flow meter manufacturers in Japan, OVAL. With six on offer, you may need to talk to an expert at iCenta for more information on any specific requirements you may have surrounding your application.

Variable Area Flow Meters | Rotameters

Variable Area Flow Meters | Rotameters

Mechanical variable area flow meters (known as rotameters) provide direct viewing of flow rate for basic flow measurement of either water / liquids or gases (eg air, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, argon, helium) by aligning the float with marks on the rotameter flow tube.

Where Variable Area (VA) flow meter calibration has been carried out for defined media conditions, deviations in the quoted density, pressure or temperature of gases, or in the density or viscosity of liquids, will result in measurement errors. iCenta Controls supply and wide range of Variable Area Flow Meters and Rotameters from, GF Signet, MECON and Voegtlin, giving your organisation an array of options.
