X-Range Pedestals
Heavy to extra heavy grade range with stringer system. Manufactured to meet customers specification orders. Typically, under floors that require support for a heavy load in data centres. This chunky pedestal is manufactured in house with the finest quality steel. Available in a wide range of sizes.
Our ‘X’ Range of pedestals have been designed to meet the demanding requirements of the PSA MOB PF2 PS/SPU:March 1992 specification, heavy grade and has been tested in conjunction with a variety of panels. They are manufactured in a standard range of heights from 75−1525 mm with adjustments that provide a small overlap between heights.

M-Range Pedestals
Medium grade pedestal. A lighter grade pedestal, designed to meet the euro grade specifications. Typically used in light weight offices.
Our ‘M’ Range of pedestals have been designed to meet the demanding requirements of the BS EN 12825:2001 specification, euro grade and has been tested to class 3 (see test report) in conjunction with a variety of panels.

E-Range Pedestals
Typically used in hotel rooms or reception areas. Fully compatible and strengthened with a screw down stringer panel.

Ramp Pedestal Range
Our ‘Ramp Head’ Range of pedestals have been designed to meet the demanding requirements of the PSA MOB PF2 PS/PU: March 1992 specification. Designed to allow quick and easy installation of ramps. While meeting the highest fire regulations, class A fire rated ramp pedestal. Providing a safe and secure solutions for wheelchair uses in the case of emergency. Can be used in conjunction with our H and X Range pedestal range and are manufactured to our standard range of heights from 40mm up to 1525mm plus generous adjustments with a small overlap between heights. We endeavour to carry stock of these heights in moderate quantities, however special height ranges are available if sufficient quantities justify special production. Can be adjusted to meet any requirements.
Cantilever Pedestal Range
Our perimeter products can be adjusted to meet any requirements. Designed to bridge difficult floor spaces. Supporting panels that fit comfortably up to perimeter walls or around objects. Can be used in conjunction with our H and X Range pedestal range. Ask us for more information.
Zinc Finish
Zinc plating comes as standard on all our pedestal products. This silver finish, provides lasting protection against demanding elements. Our zinc coating is of highest quality. So much so, we provide a 25 year warranty on all of our Grainger pedestals that are purchased.
Astec 3000 Finish
Providing you with bespoke protection for your product. A Grainger's exclusive finish.
The ultimate corrosion protection for our products. An additional electroplated coating which is designed to resist all elements. The most hard wearing and scratch resistant protection there is. A more environmentally friendly and whisker free option. Excellent water and galvanic corrosion resistance. Unlike other coating options, Astec 3000 requires significantly less energy during application. Along with reducing the amount of chemicals in the coating, it offers a significantly lower level of toxicity within any environment. Making it the most environmentally friendly coating there is. In data centres or offices some standard metal finishes can fray off pedestals. Causing tiny particles to be blown into expensive server or computer equipment. In turn, a build up of these particles, may cause chaos for computers or pharmaceutical companies. Choose an Astec 3000 whisker free finish on pedestals, for peace of mind on these raised access flooring.

By applying this specialised coating to our top-quality pedestals, it offers a protection like no other. This coating eliminates the production of tiny hair line whiskers to break free, unlike a standard zinc coating. In some cases, conductive zinc whiskers can become airborne and be transported into computer equipment. This has been known to cause issues in short circuits and voltage variances. Resulting in catastrophic server failures. Our Nickel coating prevents this from happening. No galvanised reactions take place by using a nickel base product therefore it produces a completely zinc whisker, free coating. The additional benefit of our nickel coating is that gloats the ultimate shine without the need to polish.

Speed Adjuster
Screw into any drill, locate the top of the pedestal head for easy void adjustment on any pedestal. Made from hard wearing plastic, the adjuster has a long life. Proven to reduce effects of repetitive strain injury for raised access floor fitters. This product is the ultimate toolbox requirement for any experienced floor fitter.
Panel Lifter
Grainger’s raised floor lifting tool provides an easy way for installers to remove raised flooring panels. The two suction cups at each end of the lifter create a suction on the top of the panel and left with the handle. Making any removal of panels, for installation or maintenance of a project effortless. The lifter helps to prevent damage to the panel or any other remaining panels.
Polyfoam
Self adhesive, PVC and nitrile closed cell foam tape is used to create an air tight fit to a perimeter wall avoiding any damage to wall or panel. A product that offers protection against condensation and air loss. Provides resistance to oils and chemicals. 19mm width by 10mm thick x 10m length.
Foil Tape
Aluminium foil tape used to keep moisture from cut edges of panels. 50mm wide by 45metres length on roll. Can also be used in air conditioning and insulation sectors. Produced with one sided self-adhesive for a quick application and installation.

Caps
Grainger’s range of plastic caps have a solution to every eventuality. By placing a cap onto the top of a pedestal it ensures the correct location of the panel. Whether you’re fitting a stringer system or just require a plain cap we have a cap to suit. Keeps electrical continuity through panel to the baseplate with brass insert. Made from 100% recycled Copolymer Polypropylene content. These caps are the most environmentally friendly on the market.
Sealer
Red Sealer
Grainger’s Red Sealer is a highly pigmented water based PVA floor sealer which may be applied by brush, spreader or roller. The XP2640 formulation contains no volatile solvents and also allows users to comply with the most recent environmental legislation.
Yellow Sealer
Grainger’s Yellow sealer is a highly pigmented water based PVA floor sealer which may be applied by brush, spreader or roller. The XP2641 formulation contains no volatile solvents and also allows users to comply with the most recent environmental legislation.
Grainger’s Red Sealer is a highly pigmented water based PVA floor sealer which may be applied by brush, spreader or roller. The XP2640 formulation contains no volatile solvents and also allows users to comply with the most recent environmental legislation.
Yellow Sealer
Grainger’s Yellow sealer is a highly pigmented water based PVA floor sealer which may be applied by brush, spreader or roller. The XP2641 formulation contains no volatile solvents and also allows users to comply with the most recent environmental legislation.
Ped Fix 1 Pedestal Adhesive
Grainger’s Ped Fix 1 is a one-component, ultra-low VOC, solvent free, polyurethane system specially formulated for fixing pedestals used in access flooring. When cured, Ped Fix 1 has excellent adhesion to concrete and other surfaces and to most materials likely to be used in the access flooring industry. Keeping pedestals locked in place at ease and providing stability for the rest of the floor.

Ideally suited for locking metal threads this product has found widespread use in many industries especially the raised access floor panel market.
