If your microwave is arcing or sparking during cooking, it may be that the waveguide cover is damaged. This metallic type material, which is a blend of mica and is invisible to microwaves, it covers the aperture that the microwaves pass through to get into the oven cavity. When old damp or contaminated can react to microwaves by arcing.

The function of the microwave dish is to hold and rotate the food during cooking to ensure that the food is being heated evenly throughout. The microwave tray or microwave plate is usually made of toughened glass. not designed to be used in a conventional oven unless by design. The microwave turntable sits on a microwave roller ring and is driven by the turntable coupling.

This microwave oven is suitable for use with 1000 watt generators.

This is an ideal microwave to use as a caravan microwave as it draws less power than most microwaves.

These ovens are specially converted in our workshop to reduce the cooking power to 320 watts.

When in use this oven will draw only 510 watts at 3.1 amps from your power supply.

This enables them to run on a 1000 watt (peak) generator without causing any problems. The oven also incorporates a 'soft start' circuit which prevents the surge that usually trips an inverter or generator on start up.

Ideal for use in vehicles and welfare vans.

If you intend to run your microwave from a 24 volt inverter we recommend that you use a 1000 watt inverter, such as the Sunshine Solar VM1000 that we have thoroughly tested to be compatible with this oven.

This package comprises of a 24 Volt Inverter which draws approximately 50 Amps in order to power the supplied 700 watt microwave oven. The oven is supplied fitted to a bespoke bracket that secures to the existing mounting holes in the top left cupboard.Also supplied is a suitable fly lead that can be connected to the vehicle harness above the windscreen. This connects to the Inverter which sits nicely in the top right hand cupboard.The roller door will need to be removed as it will not open or close with the oven in place (as shown in the pictures)Complete with colour matching trim.
