About us

We like to think that our expertise is second to none. David and Edwina Sharp joined the company in 1976 and have built up an impressive knowledge base that is complemented by Mary Owens, who manages the orchestral division. The advice that you get will always be honest, and virtually everything that appears on this website or in our catalogue is there on merit – everything has to pass our product selection procedure each year.
In 2021 we saw the retirement of David & Edwina Sharp and also Mary Owens. Lee Newbold and Emma Thomson took over as a team until Lee left for pastures new in November 2023, Emma is currently the sole point of contact and will do her utmost to provide the same level of service that you’ve come to know and love. please be patient, Since the pandemic struck things have skyrocketed with enquiries and orders so she may be working double time to ensure goods are sourced and provided and there may be delays in replies.
