Gas cylinder safety labels, signs and tags form part of our hazardous substances and chemicals range. These cover the production, maintenance, handling, transport, storage and use of gases under pressure in cylinders or receptacles. They cover the safe use of gases for industrial, medical, commercial and domestic applications.
These storage signs for gases under pressure clearly identify designated areas to safely stock and handle your gas cylinders. Use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sources of ignition or flammable materials, well clear of any potential impact (ie fork lift trucks).
Signs include areas for cylinder storage as well as separate areas for full or empty cylinders, and are available in self adhesive vinyl and rigid plastic.
Gases stored can include oxygen, nitrogen, acetylene, propane, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, helium and liquid petroleum gas (LPG).
Our gas cylinder tags can be used to determine the status (full, in use or empty) and assist in the safe transport, handling, storage, maintenance and use of gases under pressure.
These universal tags can be used in all industries such as dispensing beverages, chemical processing, industrial applications (soldering, welding, flame cutting), fork lift trucks, breathing and diving, fire extinguishing, medical, laboratory, heating and cooking.
They can be used as tags for labelling cylinders, cannisters or pressure receptacles containing LPG (liquid petroleum gases, propane and butane), and gases under pressure (covering liquefied gases such as anhydrous ammonia, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, non-liquefied gases, such as argon, oxygen, helium and and nitrogen, or dissolved gases, such as acetylene).
