Barriers Height Restrictor − Fixed Arm

Height Restriction Car Park Barriers prevent access to un-authorised areas, such as staff car parks or underground car parks, using height as a barrier.

As with all barriers manufactured by Newgate, the Height Restriction Car Park Barrier is designed and built to be a robust, sturdy barrier. With multi height limitations and widths, this car park barrier suits a very diverse range of car park entrances.

Barriers Manual Swing Arm

The Manual Swing Car Park Barrier is an ideal solution for staff parking areas of larger multi-use sites or isolated car parks.

Constructed from steel rectangular hollow section, the Manual Swing Arm Barrier boasts a sturdy arm to prevent access to un-authorised areas. Lockable in both open and closed positions providing peace of mind during overnight periods when the parking area is often unmanned. The barrier is supplied with two locking posts as standard. The steel barrier arm can span openings of up to eight metres (16 metres with a pair of barriers.)

Manual or Electric, Bi-Folding Swing Gates are used in applications where space is limited or restricted. Each leaf section includes locking or latching facilities to ensure the whole gate assembly remains sturdy at all times.

Drive-units Drive Units for Swing Gates

Manually operated swing gates benefit every time with the range of Newgate drive units. We have drive units avaiable for almost every type of construction and style of gate.

Our electric ram drive is suitable for domestic and lightweight gate applications, up to a single leaf width of 2.5m.

For heavier and more industrial gates our motor gearbox drive units are more applicable. These accommodate gates up to 7.0m for a single width leaf or 14m for a twin leaf.

Drive-units Drive Units for Sliding Gates

Manually operated sliding gates benefit every time with our range of Newgate drive units. We have drive units avaiable for almost every type of construction and style of gate.

Our electric Type 3 unit is suitable for domestic and lightweight gate applications, up to a mass of 1000kg.

Newgate’s Type 1 motor gearbox drive units are suitable for heavier and more industrial gates up to a mass of 4500kg.

Road-blockers Road Blockers 2.0/2.5m, 3 Tonne

Road Blockers, alternatively known as Rising Kerbs, are the perfect solution to prevent unwanted vehicle access and will deter the most determined intruder.
They are ideal for both manned and unmanned vehicle parks.

Available in two sizes 2.0m and 2.5m, the Hydraulic Rising Kerb is capable of withstanding axle weights of three tonnes. (Type A)

Road Blockers 2.0/2.5/3.0/3.9/4.9m, 12 Tonne

Road Blockers, alternatively known as Rising Kerbs, are the perfect solution to prevent unwanted vehicle access and will deter the most determined intruder.
They are ideal for both manned and unmanned vehicle parks.

Available in five sizes 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 / 3.9 / 4.9m, the Hydraulic Rising Kerb is capable of withstanding axle weights of 12 tonnes (Type B)

Turnstiles

Available in three styles. Newgate’s full height turnstile is supplied in either a single or twin rotor configuration. Our third turnstile is a half height tripod model.

All units are provided in a powder coated (to your choice of colour) or stainless steel finish. Accessories such as canopy, downlighting and fire alarm override are all available, to suit each turnstile, as applicable.

Twin Rotor Turnstile

The new generation of multi-functional full height turnstiles − ideal for all applications, are also available from and manufactured by Newgate.

Incorporating the very latest in modern design and styling to ensure maximum convenience and ease-of-use, our turnstiles are manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel for long-lasting and maintenance free performance.

CAR PARK BARRIERS − The rising arm barrier is a reliable and uncompromising barrier, providing fast, safe and easy car park entry or exit. PVC curtains shown on rising arm barrier are optional.

SLIDING GATE − The sliding security gates are inherently stronger than traditional sliding gate designs making them the ultimate deterrent to unwanted vehicle access. Features of the sliding gate includes a proven powerful motor and gearbox system, manual over-ride facility and multi contact safety edge systems as standard. A manually operated system can also be provided.

HEAVY DUTY RISING ARM BARRIER - Our heavy duty rising arm barrier is the first choice for access and traffic control at lorry parks, warehouses and depots, docks, road and rail bridges. The heavy duty rising arm barrier is tough and reliable, which can be controlled from a security point or via an approved user’s card, token or keypad. High bar curtain is optional.

SWING GATE - With its robust design and manufacture, Newgate’s high performance and powerful electric swing gates are the ideal security protection system for high security requirements such as warehouses, factories and military establishments. Operation is via user-operated push-button keypad or swipe controls with a manual option is also available.

PEDESTRIAN GATES/TURNSTILES − The pedestrian gates and turnstile provide safe, secure and managed access. Combined with an electric lock and automatic closing device, the gate can be fully integrated with an access control system. Full and half height turnstiles are available, manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel for optimum performance operation.

ROAD BLOCKERS / RISING KERBS − The rising kerb barrier is a quick response, hydraulically operated rising herb that help prevent vehicle access in unmanned car parks. Alternatively, they provide an effective deterrent against the most determined intruder. A wide range of control options can be offered.
