Noisy Neighbours Soundproofing Standard System
Our Noisy neighbours no more system is the best on the market. The unwanted sound waves need to be either blocked or absorbed (ideally both!) Our first layer of NoiseKiller Adhesive Sound Barrier in the system combines blocking and absorption layers. The full system is as follows;-
Class “O” Fire Rated Adhesive Sound Barrier (10mm)
Open cell acoustic foam sandwiched inside two rigid damping sheets for maximum noise reduction.
- Open cell acoustic foam out performs any wool or fibre type layers and is excellent at absorbing high frequency sounds (i.e.. shouting, arguing, “performing”, children etc).
- The damping sheets dense mass act as a great blocker of low frequency sounds (i.e.. bass/music) There are two layers of damping sheet layers.

Our Noisy neighbours no more deluxe PLUS system is even more effective than our deluxe system. The extra layer of open cell acoustic foam is added in between the battens meaning that this system is the same thickness from the wall.
The unwanted sound waves need to be either blocked or absorbed (ideally both!) Our first layer of NoiseKiller Adhesive Sound Barrier in the system combines blocking and absorption layers. anti-vibration/blocking of sound and the extra egg box foam provides further absorption. The full system is as follows;-

Acoustic Engine Blanket
A sheet of blocking Lead, sandwiched inside two layers of class “O” fire rated acoustic foam, covered with a high heat resistant Fortaglas fabric.
The lead blocks the engine sound and the foam absorbs the airborne sounds.
The blankets help to suppress the “clatter” from the diesel engine and stop it from entering the cab area. Waterproof, Fireproof, Oil and Grease resistant, Bound and sealed edges, Brass eyelets for easy fixing.
We stock three standard sizes that generally cover all engines as engines greatly differ in size. (Small 500x500mm, Medium 750×500 and Large 925×500). However we can manufacture any custom designed engine blanket if you prefer, which can also include cut outs, slots etc
Acoustic Generator Box Blanket
Each side is made up exactly the same as our standard vehicle engine blankets which is, a sheet of blocking Lead, sandwiched inside two layers of class “O” fire rated acoustic foam, covered with a high heat resistant Fortaglas fabric. The lead blocks the engine sound and the foam absorbs the airborne sounds.
The blankets help to suppress the constant annoying generator noise. Waterproof, Fireproof, Oil and Grease resistant, Bound and sealed edges. Any panel can have cut outs/splits/eyelets etc in any position to avoid any cables or air in take areas etc.
NoiseKiller Barrier Mat Material
The Barrier mat is easy to shape and acts as a blocker of sound or it can be used to reduce the vibrations of a metal structure.
Barrier mat is used around bulkheads, wheel arches, doors, under spare wheels and on the rear wings of vehicles.
Used extensively in ICE market to enhance the bass sound quality of rear sound systems and block out noise and vibrations from exhausts.
Barrier mat can also be used on party walls for domestic sound proofing.
This material has always been sold in 2 roll sizes (Full sheet 2 m x 1.2 m, or half sheet 1 m x 1.2 m) but now is available in large pads (10 pads at 400 mm x 400 mm = 10 pads at 15 1/2″ x 15 1/2″).
NoiseKiller Adhesive Sound Barrier Material
The damping sheets help to block the road noise, exhaust noise, and the vibrations created by vehicle movement, and the acoustic foam will absorb the frequencies that pass through the damping sheet.
Used mainly inside Land Rovers for the areas that are not flat on the floor and for the bulkheads in middle and rear engine vehicles.
NoiseKiller Sound Barrier Material
The damping sheets help to block the road noise, exhaust noise, and the vibrations created by vehicle movement, and the acoustic foam will absorb the frequencies that pass through the damping sheet.
Used on the floor surface inside a vehicle and along the side of a transmission tunnel usually under the existing carpets.
NoiseKiller Egg Box and Roof material
The 25mm profiled face (12.5 rise/12.5 fall) gives a greater surface area with which the sound can be absorbed than flat faced foams.
Used in domestic sound proofing for party walls, in music studio sound proofing, in acoustic hoods, in the rear of motor homes, commercial vans,
Land Rover roof sections and boats for both sound and heat insulation.
We also offer 50mm NosieKiller Egg Box material (25 rise/25 fall). The 50mm are made to order and take max 7-10 working days.
NoiseKiller Lead Sandwich Material
The Lead layer acts as a barrier to sounds and the two layers of foam absorb the airborne sounds that have been blocked.
The foil facing gives a wipe clean surface and helps to stop the acoustic foam from clogging with fumes and oils.
Can be used on the bulkhead in Land Rover models or inside in-cab engine covers, for lining generator housings in Motor Homes, to cover surveillance equipment housings in commercial vehicles, and as part of a solution to industrial noise reduction.
NoiseKiller Vibrasorb Material
The damping sheet helps to reduce the noise created by the vibrations of the bonnet lid, boat engine cover or generator housing. The open cell acoustic foam layer absorbs the airborne sounds created by an engine.
The foil facing gives a wipe clean surface and helps to stop the acoustic foam from clogging with fumes and oils, and helps to stop discolouring of a bonnet lid.
NoiseKiller Vibrasorb comes with 6mm open cell foam as standard, but can also be made in various alternative thickness’s if required, please contact us for more details.
