Amateurs. Contacted Smartseal to clean my roof, they subcontracted to Smartshield who didn't complete the job and when I requested for this to be done they asked for an additional £360!. Also, broke 2 tiles, flooded my kitchen, dumped the moss on the rec ground, washed away my sharp sand I had spent half the previous day brushing into my monoblock driveway and would not compensate me for my own time fixing all of it, even when I offered to let them work out a fair rate. Best go with a reputable firm that doesn't shirk its responsibilities and avoid fixing the problems caused by their contractors. Look for one attached to a good ombudsman like Confederation of Roofing Contractors and avoid all the added expense and hassle of dealing with these amateurs.
