We have so far been very pleased with the work completed by John and his team at Springfield Steel Buildings. The project to increase our storage capacity and warehouse facilities has been completed efficiently and effectively by SSB including groundworks and steel installation of our two 7,000 sq ft industrial Storage Buildings at our site in Narborough, Leicester. The building works have been completed to an excellent standard and included insulated cladding which should help us to reduce costs in the future. Now they are attending to the exterior groundworks and drainage which we anticipate will be completed in the next few weeks. All at SSB seem highly professional and a pleasure to deal with and we will not hesitate to use their services again in the future. This is the second project that SSB have helped us with, the previous one being a 7500 sq ft extension to an existing building which included the addition of a 1500 sq ft mezzanine floor.

We were supplied a fantastic quality stainless steel building we operate our MOT vehicle workshop from. The building went up very quickly and we have had no issues since it went up a number of years ago. We would certainly use Springfield Steel Buildngs again if we expand or relocate. Nantwich Veneers chose Springfield Steel Buildings to erect a new steel framed, insulated warehouse building to incorporate roller shutter doors and insulated cladding after John showed great knowledge and enthusiasm about his product during his tender. Over the past 8 years we have used Springfield Steel Buildings to supply approximately 18 buildings all over the UK for the works we produce for Marks & Spencer''s.

We are a management company and SSB take on the full construction package for us, supplying the groundworks, constructing the foundations, concreting the floor slab, installing the steel buildings, installing the cladding, supplying the roller doors, supplying the PA doors, installing the electrics and handing over high quality projects.

As the buildings are usually installed in active M&S department stores usually in the loading bays, the health & safety, the site management and the organisation needs to be of the highest quality and Springfield Steel Buildings always achieve this to the highest standards.

The site guys are always friendly and go out of their way to help if needed.

On the first building there was minor snagging to be done, but once SSB new what was expected, the building''s were perfect every time.

I would certainly recommend the service and the steel framed buildings that Springfield Steel Buildings supply and once we get further projects through will be going back for more.

SSB did a great job for us with all ground works, steel erection, cladding and roller shutter door. We were very pleased with John, the approach of the team and the final product.

CFB Boilers Ltd were in the market for a new factory unit to be built onto our newly acquired plot of land next door to our existing premises. The factory would need to be sized accordingly to allow steam boilers to be manufactured by our existing factory. We chose a 35m x 10m insulated, factory building.

We provided Springfield with the drawings of what we required and a pre-build meeting was arranged at our offices. John Davis was very knowledgeable about his products and advised us accordingly. The back wall was also fire rated according to latest regulations and the building also meets every required standard necessary.

Springfield provided their quotation in a fast time and it was clear and concise. We accepted the quotation (even though it wasn''t the cheapest, but it looked the best) and the proposals matched everything we required.
We then proceeded with the build.

Work was of a very high quality and Springfield were on site early and worked late on several occasions to get the job done. The workers were friendly and integrated well with our existing workforce in cooperating on them using some of our machinery, us using theirs etc. Site safety was also very good.

Once works were completed, there was hardly any snagging to do.

Springfield also offered to install the gantry crane for us at a great price and this definitely helped free up our workers for carrying on with other jobs in our workshop.

A small leak did occur on the roof, but Springfield didn''t hesitate in coming back to rectify that within 3 days and there were no issues at all.

All round excellent service, high quality product and great customer service.
