ESD Training Courses
The SSE training courses are full of practical demonstrations and always include participation from the delegates. They avoid detailed theoretical debate and analysis, and concentrate on practical and straightforward solutions to real problems. Training courses are carried out either the customer’s site or at conference/hotel venues when we run our ‘open’ courses.
ESD Workbenches

Static Safe Environments is unique in the ESD market as it is the only company that can supply the full range of ESD products and services; from a tiny press stud to the complete design and installation of fully kitted out ESD protected area in a company.
Not only does SSE supply an extensive range of high quality products and equipment to overcome electrostatic discharge it also undertakes project work including the installation of specialist dissipative floors and the manufacture of bespoke ESD benching systems.
ESD Flooring
ESD floors and ESD flooring are required to ensure that primary grounding of equipment and people is always available to control damaging electrostatic charges. SSE’s flooring team identify the most appropriate and effective ESD floor coverings, carry out the installation in accordance with the relevant Standards and test the floor to make sure it meets the electrostatic requirements of BS EN 61340-5-1:2016.
ESD Work Benches, ESD Chairs & Bench Accessories
SSE’s specialist ESD work bench manufacturing facility produces a standard range of ESD benches as well as bespoke ESD benches which can be designed to fit any area, in any configuration. Available with a choice of dissipative tops in a range of colours, SSE’s ESD work benches can be supplied with monitor mounts, shelves, PC cradles, service panels, overhead LED lighting, drawers and almost anything else required in an ESD electronics environment.
ESD chairs in many styles, colours and designs are available to go with the ESD benches.

SSE stocks a vast range of ESD equipment which includes: ESD clothing and shoes, wrist and heel grounders, ESD work station kits, ESD bench and flooring mats, ESD hand tools, ESD floor care products, ESD document holders and wallets, ESD signs and labels, overhead and bench top ionisers; everything required to deal with the problems associated with electrostatic discharge.
ESD Handling & Storage
With its own manufacturing section, SSE is able to supply standard and bespoke conductive trolleys on which static sensitive electronic components can be transported either in shielding bags or conductive boxes.

ESD Test Equipment
Having set up protection against electrostatic discharge it is essential that regular testing and monitoring is carried out to ensure that Standards are being maintained.
SSE supplies a variety of monitoring and checking equipment which will verify the ESD integrity individuals entering a work area and at ESD work stations whilst dealing with electrostatic sensitive devices.
ESD Surveys, Audits & ESD Training
SSE employs ESD technical experts who are experienced at carrying out audits and surveys which are backed up with comprehensive reports detailing remedial action to overcome any problems.
SSE offers an ESD awareness training course and an ESD Co-ordinator course as standard, although courses can also be adapted made to suit the particular requirements of individual customers.
