This is the most common question that we get asked. Generally, the answer is yes; we can 3D scan your part. We offer a mobile 3D scanning service and work in London & the surrounding areas.
You will need to provide us with some basic information. We will need to know the size of the object and what the item is used for. A photo is helpful so that we can get an idea of how detailed the part is. It’s important to know if its load-bearing or if there is any damage to the part. All these questions can usually be answered with a chat over the phone or a brief email.

I wholeheartedly recommend using SurfaceScan for anything you need 3D-printed. For those who need precision parts for your PC mods (Thingverse, Printables) like me, I will only use SurfaceScan because of their quality prints. Their costs are very competitive and also offer an expedited service which I rely on. Shown is an sample from one of my orders (I had multiple of the same parts shown and all of them were perfectly printed.) Oh, their order status communication and Customer Support are great too.
Great first experience with SurfaceScan. Communication with Angela throughout the process was top notch. I sent the guys 3 small intricate items for SLS printing and the quality is outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I will definitely be back in the future and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody. Thanks a lot guys.
Wanted a one-off cap for an old and brittle plastic housing holding the electric motor on an obsolete Silent Gliss curtain track. This had been broken during building work. No spares anywhere on the internet. Surface Scan were able to scan what remained and reverse engineer a part that allowed re-connection of the motor to the track, saving us the cost of replacing all three matching tracks. Friendly service talking me through the whole process.
