Hörmann UK’s Caxton Timber Doors provided the perfect look for the residential development built by Carlton Exclusive in Eaglescliffe, Yarm. A1 Garage Doors of Newcastle supplied and installed the doors at the exclusive scheme.
Eaglesgate fought off major competition to scoop a number of accolades, including ‘Best Townhouse’ at The Homemaker 21st Century Living Awards and three NHBC awards which included the coveted Regional Award. The three storey housing development incorporated a spacious layout that was both practical and flexible in order to meet the demands of families and working professionals alike.

The Caxton door is made up of Hand-crafted vertical timber panels secured into an open-for-infill leaf frame. Only the highest quality cedarwood is used to achieve a finely figured grain that adds warmth and character.
Initially the timber is impregnated in a double immersion bath process to afford optimum protection against insect and fungal attack. Hörmann also supplies the heavier Caxton doors with torsion spring technology to maintain smooth operation and increase the lifespan of parts. All Hörmann garage doors come with a ten-year warranty.
